How to collect Subscriber Zen?

Hey,

Forgive me if these are dumb questions, but I subscribed a couple of days ago, and I seem to be missing a few things; I have the extra bag space, but not the 500 zen.

Also, when I level I get a respec token, it shows the icon over my chat window, but I have no idea where they are stored, as they don't show in my inventory or assets tab.

I did have a question concerning the super expensive Romulan legacy pack. If you already have the playable Reman, and you get the Romulan pack, do you effectively pay twice for the Reman, or will that be refunded? (I'm not saying I would buy it, cos it's a lot of money for me, but I was just curious).

I'm also not sure of the overall value of subscribing. Everything in the game is available even if you don't sub. For £10 a month you get some bank slots and 500zen, but if I spent £10 on zen, i'd get 1000zen. Anyway, I digress.

I submitted a ticket about some of this stuff, but was sent back a generic response that had absolutely nothing to do with my question... so I am hoping people here might be able to help.

Thank you in advance :)

"If you're a monthly gold subscriber, it comes in on or around 30-days past the day when your bank last hard posted the subscription charge (moved from pending to posted). This can happen at anytime during the day. Lifetime subscribers (who have been subscribed for at least 30-days), will get it on or around the day of the month when your bank hard posted the original lifetime subscription charge (moved from pending to posted)."

You actually have to talk to the skilltrainer to see how many respec tokes you have. Check the screenshot here.

Hmmm, odd. I just started a subscription this week and got the 500z immediately.

Maybe it is determined by payment type?

Ok, so it comes at the end of the month, not at the start of the subscription (strange), thank you all :)

It's at the end of the month, so if you subscribed near the end of the month, you get it a few days after subscribing.

First of all welcome to gold status, it is your choice to stay that way but yes almost everything you get as subscriber is available as a silver. On that note you should get your zen soon within a day or so, should you keep subscribing you will get it on the day your subscription started on the next month. i.e. if you do a 3 month subscription starting today you will receive your zen on April and May 21st.

As for your respec tokens they are not a inventory item you can see them at the NPC that you go see when you choose to respec the character you have receive those tokens on i.e ESD or Qo'nos.

Also concerning the Romulan pack if you have already bought the playable Reman then no you would not get a refund/discount for buying the legact pack. I have bought the reman and several of the ships already and if I was to buy the legacy pack it would still cost me the same amount as if I did not buy any of those items.

the bank slot you got from subscribing will stay even after you go back to silver if you so choose to you do not pay for those slots per month they are a permanent addition to subscribing as well as the increase in the amount of EC you can have on one character.

In my opinion (and this is just my thoughts) if your gonna keep subscribing to the game that is fine but it might be just better to save up and go LTS (life time subscriber) you get all the perks for being a LTS once you get it and plus every month you get 500 zen just like if you subscribed each month. I subscribed for a good year and a half before F2P went live and then stayed silver until the following December after F2P when I went to LTS and I do not regret doing this the 500 zen comes in handy each month plus all the LTS perks i.e. costumes, costume slot, the vet ships etc. are a great bonus. some peole say it is not worth the $299 but I say it is, you no longer gotta worry about each month subscription and the bonuses are instant once you get it.

One last thing the submitted ticket you sent out and the response you got back was PWE/Cryptics way of telling you they got it, you MIGHT get something later on asking if you received you zen or not or ask you if the problem is resolved. I would not worry about this you should have you Zen soon just be patient.

Mine comes on the 18th of every month because that is the day that I originally subscribed.

Thanks again to all for the information.

I'm not sure about when to expect the zen. I'll give it a few more days then submit another ticket. Their customer service is... dubious, at best it seems, but hopefully all will be well.

    Appreciate the help :)

So, still didn't get my zen. I submitted a ticket and they sent a reply a few days later, thanking me for bringing it to their attention and that they would pass it on to the devs.

I didn't think this was a 'dev' issue, but rather a GM/Billing issue.

I have canceled my subscription, obviously if you don't get what it says, then it's not worth it. And if customer support is so bad they can't understand what your ticket says, it's also not worth it.

Not sure what else to do.

You start getting the zen on the next billing date. Think of it as a reward for staying subscribed. So if you subscribed on the 21st that would make your billing date the 21st. By subscribing on 3-21 (as that is my example) You wont get the zen until 4-21. And every billing date thereafter you'll get the zen unless you cancel.

Just keep in mind its based on Billing dates and not calendar dates, and you'll not go crazy.

Some times there are bugs that give it on day one of a subscription, however that is not always the case.

Oh I see, you don't get the 500zen for your first month of subscription, only if you continue to subscribe. I didn't realize that. Well that explains it all then.

Thank you. Sorry everyone for my stupidity.

Save that $15 a month until you can buy a Lifetime subscription, instead of a monthly subcriptions. If you don't want to, you still get everything as a silver player. Except the vet ship of course, and other vet rewards.
