Hi Captains,

We will be bringing down Star Trek Online tomorrow, Thursday, March 20th, at 7AM PST (click here to view in your timezone) for our weekly scheduled maintenance and to restart the server -- there are no patch notes as there is no new patch being applied, and we expect this maintenance to last for 2 hours. The test server, launcher and access to manage your account may also be unavailable during some portions of the maintenance.

Thanks for your patience and understanding,

- The Star Trek Online Team

    Then this should be a fairly uneventful thread this time, or the regular gang of loons are going to yell about there being no patch. Roll them bones!

    There is one question I'd like to ask;

    The 'Foundry Weekend Event' goes live with this maintenance, if I've read the news article correctly. It's described as 'During the event, all qualifying Foundry missions will reward a choice of Reputation Marks as an additional reward upon completion.'

    My question is, simply, what is the definition of a 'gualifying Foundry mission' in terms of this event?

    If I had to guess, I'd say current and previous foundry spotlight missions, that come up in the main tab for them.

    Probably spotlight missions, same as how you get the extra dilithium.

    Must be one giant cup of Joe you need to gulp down if it takes you folks 2 hours..
    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    Well folks think of it this way the Dev's will have 2 weeks to really work on the next patch. Think of the glass as half full. Server maintenance is always welcome in my opinon I personally like the increased stability. Cryptic staff take your time on the bug stomp then just churnning out quick band-aid fixes. JamJamz for the love of God brother please fix the fleet Ar'kef's unique skin it is just too awesome not to be able to use, work your magic my friend. Being a life time subscriber from beta I have to say this by far is one of the best MMO's I have played in my opinion and also being a huge Star Trek fan for 35 years. Great work Cryptic keep up the good work and thank you for all your long hour,dedication,and creativity in making this game and IP so fun. Here's so seeing STO reach the 10 year anniversary event.

    Well I was hoping they'd at least shorten the mirror event mission by a couple of minutes, or at least make it advance when you've re-powered up the station. But oh well, I guess there's no hope for that. I'll just have to try to get the event done, but it's going to be pretty hard to finish in time. At least now I know to give it a pass next time if they try to have it be a too long mission with only 7 days leeway.

    Or... keep the server up, since there's nothing to patch.

    But I guess the universe would collapse in on itself when confronted with so much logic.

    Last time I checked, in the description window of the Foundry Missions, the first line is now "This mission qualifies for rewards" or "This mission does not qualify for rewards"

    So, I'm wondering because nobody's let us know yet - is this everything going to the dogs, and the whole game will be dead by tuesday, or is it the decadence and stagnation of an arrogant empire, too bloated and sprawling to hold itself together, due to tear itself apart in civil war by wednesday?

    Hey, you think you're having troubles with the mirror event? I still don't have my newest character up to level 50 yet, and we're getting to the point where there'll only be hours for leeway. Hurr... still, not far to go, and there's still plenty of time to ride the timers and get on target. Should still be fine.
