Could the wonderful ship builders give me some tips on this build? http://skillplanner.stoacademy.com/?build=mobiusv1_5512

I'm mainly using it for PvP, so no PvE concern is here.

CSV and APB out. Another CRF and if you want a second pattern APD, or DBB with BO. (use 2 conn officer doffs for tac team reduction cooldown and you can have 2 BO, unless you use pattern doffs)

Temporal set from lobi is very nice addition.

Then depends on what you want to accomplice. You can also use the Lt.Com. as Engineering.
I would not use GW. (TB or TSS is better)
Then depending on number of heals, emmiter array consoles (from embassy with HuH and ShH)
    Neutronium [turn] from Mine holding.

Because you use antiprotons, 3 Locators are better.

Elite fleet shield and you can also use the Elite Cores from Spire instead of the Cutting Beam (I assume you have it for the drain proc).

I added a spec if you are doing something wildly different then that one just ask and I can explain why I would spec the way I did.

    Changes.
    1) EPTW is pointless in pvp dump it for EPTS - Use 2-3 Damage control doffs to keep your EPTS and EPTE up all the time.
    2) Keep the omega dump the beta... however if you have the Means run 2 attack pattern doffs... and run a Delta 1... with delta 1 + omega 3 you can keep one or the other up at all times... and omega 3 up 50% of the time which is op.
    3) Upgrade the rapid fire to 2... up to you on the Scatter 1... I like ti sometimes I tend to run it on my tacs as I can use tac init to keep my rapid fire up and then use scatter if the situation comes up. Really though scatter 1 rapid 1 is pretty close in terms of single target dmg so scatter 1 isn't really a loose in anyway and you can a bit of spam clear.
    4) The science team... I would trait a second doff that has TSS 1 instead. if you find yourself on a good team you shouldn't need your own clears and the resist is nice to have... but pugging likely want to have your own science clear.
    5) dump the silly clicky dmg console... and slot a plasmotic leech. Everyone in PvP will be running one so you pretty much have to run one as well to even it out. Make sure you have 6 points at least in power insulators and if you can (no reason not to spend 900 points) Max out flow caps in tier 1.
    6) It seems you have fleet access... so I would suggest you run the new spire warp core with [AMP] mod... the power drain resist and the AMP in combo with a plasma leech console will replace more dmg then you would give up dropping the EPTW 1.
    7) Also on fleet stuff... get a E fleet shield if you can... Resistant is the only way to go in PvP right now. Many people keep a RESB and a RESA shield handy to swap in and out... but if you can only afford one RESB is likely the best option as it covers the 2 most likely vaper/high dps weapon types.
    8) RSP... likely not that needed... its a long cool down on an escort... Aux to Damp is up a lot more and will make you immune to TBR and GW... if you have room and you should... get a Matter Anti Matter doff that extends the up time on A2D and gives you hull resist as a bonus... if you are low on coin the blue ones are almost as good as purple for a steep discount.

So there you go ... if you have lots of EC... Run 3 DMG control doffs, 2 Attack Pattern Doffs, and 1 Matter anti matter. (you can also run 2 Dmg control doffs and slot a Gravity well doff for the after shocks, more likely you will miss a cycle on your EPTx roll... but 2 is still pretty reliable)
    [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
Dignity and an empty sack is worth the sack.

Here's the build I have been running in Ker'rat recently. The build is solid at dogfighting though it can't compete with JHAS (and a particular T'Varo dogfighter I encounter). I'd say I go about 50/50, maybe 60/40 against generally equal opponents.

I've found it to be pretty pointless to run a Lt.Cmdr. Sci on this ship. Even when I ran 4x XII Embassy Flow Caps, polaron proc, diplo doff and drian BO abilities I seemed to do nothing against opponents. The best thing I had at Lt.Cmdr. was HE3... sad. Not sure why grav well would even be suggested, cloaks maybe? Because that grav well will hold no one.

So I went double A2D since not having that resist up tended to invite more vapes.

I have no idea how well this would do in the queues but it does pretty well Kirking about (when I have an opponent). I may switch to full polarons eventually, but I had the phasers on hand and everyone runs [ResB] shields.

EDIT: Updated my build to reflect current spec.

Perhaps add a BO3 and PSW1 for some spike element?

I tried a persistent damage Mobius for PVP, and nowadays with all the heals and resists it just made me go back to my Sci toons honestly. It's spike or gtfo in todays PVP.

My two cents: Life is very rough for a Mobius these days...

Elite Fleet Shield Adaptive Resilient (resA) and also get a (resB) or nothing...

Drop the KCB and add a third turret.

Drop the black hole console and get a Zero Point Energy Conduit

Swap the Shield Emitter Amplifier for an Emitter Array

In your cmmdr tac go: TT, ApD, CRF2, ApO3
    lt tac TT, CRF1

For tanky as heck which you need to be without a cloak, either run TSS3, HE2, ST1 and pop Aux batts like your life depends on it. Or Run EpTs3 in that LTC uni, with RSP1 and EptE1.

Pick up the Helmsman Trait on the exchange.

Swap the Fleet Neutroniums for the Fleet RCS (res-all) you really need all the turn you can get.

Most Importantly, make friends with someone who can and will throw you heals.

    my thoughts on mobius layouts...

she's a great ship...but, lacks the engineering stoutness to stay in the fight sometimes...therefore i run my mobius eng heavy at all times...

in the arenas, and i know some disagree with me here, i really like to have an rsp on all builds. i dont use any get out of jail clickies...so, thats usually my one out... also...you will need a big ol spike to kill....man there are a lot of heals going around....

i also dont use the sto skillplanner, hope this layout is easy to read and helpful:

    tt1, crf1, bo3, apo3
    tt1, apd1
    epts1, rsp1, dem2
    epte1
    st1, he2

doffs: 3x dmg control purple to cooldown eptX, 2x attack pattern purple doffs for seamless apo/apd.....and the dem doff.....hopefully you have grabbed that 6th doff slot!

    3x dhc, 1 dbb
    2 turrets, borg beam
    borg eng
    borg def
    a core with [AMP]
    fleet elite shields

    2x fleet neutroniums +turn
borg console, tachyokinetic, plas leech, console of your choice
    4x crtH spire consoles

    aux batteries, weaons batteries

the thought behind this build, is that you crf/overload spike with dem on your alphas. and on your off alpha stikes... you have the borg 2 pc weapons set to possibly proc and help you with drain...and if not...you have a weapons battery to pop when you stack them again.

aux batteries to hit when you really need to boost that hazzards..... and a sci team...well...that one is of course a go since the last patch right...

downsides: no tractor for your overload spike.... and she will still take a lot of bleedthru damage. but, hopefully the borg 2pc eng/def set keeps you running, and with epte...you should be flying around pretty well to evade fire...

alternative doffs: run keel'el...the warp core clear doff....instead of the 3rd purple dmg control....there will sometimes be gaps in eptX chaining....but...you will have that clear all debuff sweetness.

umm, hope that helps, and gl with your flying.

    have fun kill bad guys

Ok, It sliipped my mind when making this beta can be cleared via tac team, so yeah i'lll use delta. Another thing, why do people use the elite fleet resilent shields? I thought omega rep shields were better...

Elite fleet res shields are generally considered to be the best shield, because of the [adapt] mod - that one gives you a 20% energy weapon type resistance matching what people are using at you, stacking with the inherent resists it grants to 3 energy types. When used with EPtS, these shields tend to max out your energy resists for 3 energy types and coming close for the other 3.

The rep shields, however, may be preferred in some builds because of the set bonus that can grant. The Borg shield in itself, for instance, isn't all that impressive, but the 3-piece set boni are very nice (with the 3-piece being a sizeable hull heal proc), for instance.

This mostly. 2pc Borg with Elite Fleet Resilient Shields [adapt] [resB] is the "go to" right now for about any build. It provides resists to Antiproton, Disruptor and Plasma which are probably the three types you'll see most. It's not the best for plenty of builds, but it does give shield resistances and 2pc Borg has the hull heal. I really like my Omega 2pc over Borg 2pc. It adds agility, tet gliders, boosts accuracy and looks nice with phasers.

But there are reasons to run other sets. The main disadvantage of not having a cloak is that clicky abilities are pretty much a bad choice. If I had a cloak, I'd probably run full Omega space set for gravitic anchor. But I'm forced to stay in the fight and have no option to hide and wait for cds to expire.

Overall, lots of good advice in this thread.
