Fur-less Caitians?

So yesterday I was on Drozana and I saw someone who was apparently a fur-less Caitian. Their avatar looked like a human female, with a human looking face, no fur, long hair thats not available for caitians, but they had Caitian ears and a tail. When I asked they said that their char was Caitian and proved it by jumping around, so im inclined to believe that they actually were Caitian.

Later though I went on to tribble and bought the Caitian species but I did not have any options to remove their fur. There was a grayed out drop-down for Caitian fur next to the color selection. I also tried creating an alien thinking that unlocking races would unlock customization options but no tail or ears option appeared.

So, how can I remove fur on Caitians so that I can have a human looking char/boff with a tail.
Also the player on Drozana had a cutout version of the Hirogen armor, not sure if that matters (didnt know there was a cutout version of that armor).

    Maybe is a veteran custome reward or something?

    I dont think i ever saw that kind of caitian...

    Anyways, why someone would want a human with a tail?? seriously...

    Weird. I've seen cat-like aliens but the cat tail is only available to Caitians. I've never seen a fur-less option on mine. I'd guess they are taking advantage of some game bug.

    Tailor glitch. It let you put cat tails on anything.

    Nope. I have lifetime membership and don't have such an option.

    I had seen a federation player a few months ago at Drozana wearing a full KDF orion bikini.

    About a year ago there was some sort of chat command you could use that would allow you to modify your character however you wanted. It let you use any uniform parts, head options, etc. that you aren't normally suppose to use. This bug was fixed, supposedly.

    The reason why I say "supposedly" is because the fed character in an orion bikini had the flower accents belt from the risa summer event, and the chat command was removed months before the summer event if I remember correctly.

    1 possibility is that as long as you don't ever modify your costume slot with parts you shouldn't have, you can keep it that way. So some of those characters you're seeing may be rather old.

    Another possibility is that players have found another way to modify their characters with options they aren't suppose to have since the bug was fixed a long time ago. Warning: If this is the case do not post how it is done on the forums as it may be considered an exploit. Us the in-game bug report feature instead.

    Overall, I have only seen these types of modified characters hang out at Drozana Station.

    Edit: I just remembered there was some sort of option at the tailor for the Khan outfit from the Arc giveaway that let Catians have some sort of no-fur option. I didn't know about it until I read the patch notes that said it was being fixed.

    Removed the option for no fur on the female Caitian chest while wearing the Dyson Jacket.
    This option should not have been available.

    It's not a glitch, it's Federation secret project to turn Caitians into erotic toys for humans. When they are done, Caitians will look like humans with tails and everyone will be able to buy themselves one.

    There have never been any option for furless catians, unless there was a glitch with the tailor. Whatever you saw, the player used an exploit to do it.

    I remember going to the tailor once.... and Satra had the option to have Caitian hands. so yes, its most likely some kind of tailor bug.

    Of course its a glitch. Caitian tails should be only available for caitians. And thats it. No other species should be able to wear tails, not unless they are related to the caitian phisiology.

    I have a Ferasan and will see what it looks like with the bare skin Khan outfit on. I assume it might remove fur just like the Caitians.

    Yesterday in Risa a saw again a human wearing caitian ears and a tail. Of course it looked really terrible, but are you sure guys this is a bug from years ago?? its very suspicious and i want it to go away. A caitian is a caitian and a human is a human, for god sake, dont mix em both. It looks really ugly and disturbing.

    A furhless tail will be logical to include as a part of an alien toon creation, but a caitian / ferasan tail is out of question.
