A transcript compilation of deleted scenes scattered through various promotions. However, one in particular raises an eyebrow...

Just another point on the revenge triangle. I think it's actually a six-pointed star by now.

That'll be someone's birthday, like JJ did with the Kelvin in the first movie...

I learned something from this thread.

I learned from the title that we should drop the "into" when making acronyms of this movie's title, and just call it "JJ Abrams' TRIBBLE." :D

When my friends and I discussed the deleted scenes of J.J.'s first Star Trek everyone was sayin how the Spock birth scene and the extended car theft scene should have been left in there. I just couldn't see any of those scenes working to the greater extent. For one thing, the final version of he car theft scene makes Kirk look far more rebellious rather than being kind of timid and unsure. When I look at these scenes, I'm similarly grateful these scenes were not included, especially that Kirk/Carol scene: who honestly cares if she has a British accent in this version? It never even occured to me that Admiral Marcus didn't. Nevertheless, seeing deleted scenes is always fun because sometimes there can be something that explains something that happens later or ties up an earlier loose end.
