Can someone tell me what is the difference between Critical hit and critical severity?

    As I understand it:

    Critical Hit in the game is your percentage chance of achieving a critical hit, doing extra damage.

    Critical Severity is the amount of extra damage done by a critical hit.

    Now i will go back to my loadout and see if I can improve those areas.
