The video looks great at 720p!

71,000 feet, is that high enough? The WhiteKnight 2 helped out.

SpaceShip 2 is carried to an altitude of 46,000 feet. It detaches then ignites the engine.

Can it go higher?

Well, SS2's nominal maximum altitude is supposed to be 110 km, which is 360 thousand feet. This is just an initial rocket engine test, burning for maybe 1/4 as long as on a full flight.

Whoa, they have a long way to go!

From 71,000 feet all the way to 360,000 feet?!

    Okay, how about this?

Just take me to 71,000 feet and charge me only $50,000 ?

I saw black space above SS2 at 71,000 feet. That's good enough for me.
