Mondays.

People who tell you they will be there in twenty minutes then don't show up for two hours.

People who ask for a cash price on an item and then want to make payments.

People who, when in the company of a particular person treat you amiably, then when that person is gone, treat you like a sand flea.

When you get your pizza and it has slid to one side of the box.

When a cop tries to pull you over in a parking lot for no seatbelt.

When a cop gets nervous and she starts to pull her gun on you.

When cooking a chicken pot pie the center NEVER seems to cook right.

When doing Azure Nebula and you go flying off to the five and everyone else goes flying to the two. Then ask 8 minutes later, "You STILL fighting that dread? lmao"

people who, when I tell them our other site is right across the street (a car lot with 70+ vehicles), they point to the motel and ask, "Is that it?" or the shell gas station "Is that it?"....no...the car dealership would be....the lot with the 70+ cars.

People who are impatient. You know...the guy who comes in while the ONE employee is on the phone with a customer..and he gets impatient and starts cursing "I GUESS YOU DON"T WANT TO SELL AN EFFING CAR HUH TRIBBLE!" I give my manager the right to toss anyone off the lot who is ignorant...but he has the patience of Job, is selling this guy a car right now.

The people who leave 3 car spaces in front of them at a light.

The people who wait to put their turn signal on till they are making the turn.

    Blasphemer!

You use the bacon grease in the rest of your cooking to make everything taste more bacon-y and therefore better.

I actually cooked turkey bacon in bacon grease once...much to my roommates amusement.

I don't pour out the grease, actually I do save it in a container in the freezer, I don't want it to congeal in the pipes and cause issues.

Had a job doing IT at a law firm for a while. The guy in charge of all the support personnel was the nephew of the lead partner. One year, the janitor got laid off and the secretaries were required to do overtime to keep the place clean because Nephew there gave himself a raise (entirely within his power as long as he didn't go over budget). Another year, after he bought himself an Optimus Maximus keyboard (this $3000 monstrosity with individual programmable OLED displays on each and every key), the budget was about to come up $1500 short, so basically everyone was given shortened work weeks for a couple months to shave enough off each our paychecks so he comes out looking like he came in under budget.

Finally hit the point that people started quitting, at which point they discovered that it's basically impossible to sue a lawyer in a lot of cities, because every other firm will cite conflict of interest and most of the judges will recuse themselves and all the while you're stuck racking up marked up bills with a lawyer from across the state just trying to wrangle them into court.

I didn't go that route. Around the time it was down to me filling tripple duty as IT, reception, and janitor and a couple receptionists who I think were just from a temp agency, I gave my two weeks, and on my last day I just set up a new profile for his keyboard so that each screen had a tiny little butt on it, and set up what should be fundamentally impossible file permissions around the configuration program to make sure when he tried to fix it he'd keep getting Access Denied errors.

Thanks, but... Eh, I'm not exactly proud of it as a professional*. Had I been suspected or my replacement realized it was obviously intentional, it... would have been awkward to explain to future employers. When you're in IT, sabotaging the machines you're entrusted with is frowned upon.

*-As a guy with a story to tell, though, the only one I like more is the 4 AM emergency call from a client who could only articulate that, "My Microsoft fell out!"

Mondays.I actually don't despise Mondays. After all, it's a new week and I get to be part of it.

People who tell you they will be there in twenty minutes then don't show up for two hours.
I had a friend like this once. I got tired of her selfishness and inconsiderate attitude. We aren't friends anymore.

People who ask for a cash price on an item and then want to make payments.
This isn't always a horrible thing. Do you have any idea how much Disneyleand passes cost now? The cheapest one is around $230. AND they allow payments. I take that back, maybe it is a horrible thing.

People who, when in the company of a particular person treat you amiably, then when that person is gone, treat you like a sand flea.
Ah, the politics of making appearances. The last time this happened to me my grandma was literally about to die. Everyone was all nice and civil towards me...for the first time in my entire life. It's weird, but it does happen.

    bigotry, ignorance, and laziness.
I was in the army. Believe me, you have NO idea. Try being the only white chick in an all black barracks bay. With EVERY other female roommate from the south and raised with that us-against-them xenophobic mentality. It's a long story, but they all tried to kill me one night (and later admitted to the plot) and I was the one who was kicked out of the company. Bigotry, ignorance, laziness (on the part of my NCOs). *shudder*

    Money, money, and more money.
The love of money is the root of all evil...so they say.

Having a credit check for a job.
I never understood this one. Having a low credit score does not make a person unreliable, nor does it make them a criminal. I don't believe in using credit (for many reasons), so I feel this one wholeheartedly and completely.

Having a credit check for insurance.
    See above.

    Having no credit.
It isn't all that bad. For one thing, I'm not up to my eyeballs in debts I can't afford. I'm not living beyond my means, and I think in terms of what I can actually pay for, rather than what kind of payments I can make. It seems restricting but it's really much more realistic than never ending payments to *company name here.*

delivery drivers who say "Sorry I don't have change" when your order is $20 and all you have is $30.
You lost me on this one. If the numbers are even, there shouldn't be any change. Especially between $20s and $10s. Even with $5s and $1s. how is change necessary here?

When you get your pizza and it has slid to one side of the box.
So...slide it back if it bothers you. As long as the pizza is still intact, of course.

When a cop tries to pull you over in a parking lot for no seatbelt.
Parking lots are private property. They can't pull you over until you've actually left the parking lot without a seatbelt.

When a cop gets nervous and she starts to pull her gun on you.
If the cop I that freaked out, you probably need to be pistol whipped. Again, I was in the army. No one trained to handle weapons will (or, should, anyway) do it arbitrarily.

When cooking a chicken pot pie the center NEVER seems to cook right.
If you're making it yourself, it might be too big. The heat can't get in all the way and it doesn't cool evenly. I learned this one the hard way.

When doing Azure Nebula and you go flying off to the five and everyone else goes flying to the two. Then ask 8 minutes later, "You STILL fighting that dread? lmao"
Sometimes it is easier to split up, depending on the ships/setups of the other players. That should go without saying.

    having expectations.
Do you hate having expectations, or do you hate it when they aren't met? THAT is the question.

going into a liquor store on Fridays only to be accosted by bums on the way in and the way out...
If a homeless person physically assaults you, you have a right to call the police. If he or she tries to get money from you, you can complain to the business owner about what's called soliciting. Know your rights.

    being homeless.
Yeah, this one got old fast. First I was homeless, then I was couch surfing, then I was homeless again, then I had this motel room for a couple weeks, and so on. I got lucky with the VA and whatnot. But I swore to myself that if I'm ever homeless again I'll kill myself. Hasn't happened yet. Here's hoping I doesn't.

Not being able to find more places to volunteer at....apparently only psychopathic criminals volunteer at churches since that is how they treated me.
Have you tried community parks, hospitals and other such places? Sometimes you have to be creative to think of and find places, but they do exist. The approach is important, too. Some people are FAR too judgmental of others, especially when they actually want to work for free.

    missing the cannabis cup.
I have no idea what this is in reference to. Besides our friend Mary Jane, of course.

    hempfest.
    I'm a non-using pro weed type.

being pegged in foreign countries as an American, service and attitudes always seem to get worse.
My only experience out of country was in uniform, so I honestly can't relate.

    the two party system!
    We have other parties...I guess.

    Politicians.
Correction: CORRUPT politicians. Not all of them are. Only the vast majority.

people who want to sit at my desk and talk to me about chemtrails and Alex Jones.
    You lost me here.

    Justin Beiber
He was too famous too soon and has a god complex of sorts. Give him a decade or so. Once he blows his fortune and gets an TRIBBLE and/or knocks up a chick he's not really serious about...well, the **** will hit the fan.

    Justin Beibers parents
I don't know anything about them.

Kanye West and any artist (actor, singer, other) who compares themselves to actual soldiers in combat.
THIS PISSES ME OFF, considering I've actually been there and they haven't. Here's another one -- traditionally journalists who do pieces in the middle of a firefight, or just photograph combat, come home as celebrated heroes. Whose life did they save? What city did they liberate? And how many of their friends had to die for their pictures? Usually none.

anyone who abuses children or animals.
    I agree.

    Turkey bacon
I don't like "real" bacon. Never have. I just can't eat it. Turkey, at least, can be cut to have the same texture. Flavor wise, I'm fine with turkey as an alternative.

    any fake bacon.
    See above.

    Not Dogs.
    I like cats. And Cardasssians.

Hrmmm....I have more. Just needed to clear out some of the old hatreds for some newer ones.
OR you can let it go and move on with your life. I never understood people who keep score.
My Old Blog about things that could and should have been added when I wrote it. Not sure what I want to do with it now. I'll just keep it available now that most of it is outdated.

Actually, on the parking lot, if it is a gated lot, then yes, if you are in a parking lot of a store where anyone can use for whatever reason (doesn't have to be a customer), then the police officer can cite you if you start the vehicle or if your keys are in the ignition.

    Back to topic,

I hate people who are a few minutes late to work and they walk in saying good morning like its no big deal.

.....any parent who use a automobile to pick up their child at the school because I rarely see a parent who parks correctly, parks in a parking spot, or not block other people in with their vehicle

....any driver at a parking lot with snow cover who apparently looses their fking mind and feels the need to park sideways or at a very sharp angle that takes up three to four spots.

....people that wear vests outside of obligatory work uniforms, that just creepy.

....people that wear vests when its cold outside and still complain that its cold out.

    lol

Daqhegh, don't take me too seriously. I promise, I am not made entirely of hatreds.

To explain a couple, with the delivery driver not having change. I was a regular lunch customer for a local greasy spoon. I would order say, $12 worth of food. I regularly tip $5 to the drivers. But this one driver I guess thought it was not enough, so he would pretend he didn't have change to get my last 3$ as tip as well. I complained to the owners, and they said they always give him a wad of ones and fives and that he was lying to me. Yet they kept him under employment.

The bums outside the liquor store. They aren't homeless. They're just aholes who don't want to work and expect you to fund their alcoholism.

The cop that started to pull her gun on me, she saw me with no seatbelt in my parking lot, I drove across the street (with a seat belt on) to my car lot and she was behind me with lights going...I got out of the car ignoring her lights and gave my salesman the paperwork he needed to get a critical problem solved for a customer regarding title work. She started to draw on me when I handed him the paperwork, telling me to freeze and that I wasn't allowed to relinquish those papers since I was being detained. If she were going to pistol whip me, it would have been more appropriate after she said I couldn't give those papers to my salesman. This is all on the same day a child prostitute asked me if I wanted a date at the gas station next door (sixteen maybe...we are in the worst ghetto in the US). I flipped on her, but she didn't again reach for the gun. I burned my ticket in front of her...but she didn't again reach for the gun. I stood behind her car and kicked her off my lot and told her she was not welcome on my property again till I witnessed the Delaware State Police arresting some of these pimps and drug dealers at the motels. I literally went temporarily insane. I wrote her a lengthy apology, and did so again in person. Her and I are somewhat friends now and see each other about once a month.

I must be nuts. Because I attract nutters. I seem to always have someone at my desk telling me how they saw bigfoot, an alien, or tell me their conspiracy theories. Chemtrails and alex jones, it is a conspiracy that the US is trying to alter the weather or some such craziness.

As far as volunteering, I now work with the Sunday Breakfast Mission..gathering clothes, toys, child safety seats, and other items for donation at my dealership. We also help them with disposing of donated junk vehicles. They are a pleasure to work with...and don't look at someone as I felt at the churches I made contact with..

Not Dogs are a vegetarian hot dog minus all the nitrates. Which means no flavor. I hate no flavor:P

And honestly, I am not that negative, sometimes it just helps to rant. Clearing out all those negative thoughts makes room for the positive ones:P

I hate it when people don't listen to my suggestions in areas where I have 25+ years experience.

Customer wanted to take a dump truck out for a test drive. But the batteries were dead.

This truck is a 1995 and has an allison automatic transmission that loses it's synch when the batteries are not fully charged. It doesn't have the juice to keep the trans in gear, then won't go forward or backwards.

I tell them, sure, come back tomorrow when I KNOW it has a full charge. I explained everything to them.

So they go to my Father (my father and I opened the business 14 years ago), and badger him into jumping it and allowing them a test drive....all while I was out getting extension cords.

Of course the truck stops moving a quarter of a mile down the road, because it doesn't have the juice to stay in gear....just like I had said.

Is it the glasses and mountain man beard that makes people disregard my experience?:P

Now I have to tow it in. Grrr.

I hate how someone can justify or have another justify doing the wrong thing and get away with it.

I hate dirty minds, tricks and jokes.

I hate lies, trickery and intentional deceptions.

I hate watching a child starve in one location while people waste food in another.

That Cryptic is still not allowing us JHDC owners to purchase the JHAS pets from the shuttle dealer. I'm willing to settle with just a regular or advanced version. I don't care about the escort version of the ship. I'll never fly it. My Vesta is enough escort for me.
One day Cryptic will be free from their Perfect World overlord. Until that day comes, they will continue to pamper the whales of this game, and ignore everyone that isn't a whale.
