God In A Starship

Definition: a tactic used in PVP and PVE where a group or a fleet pools all of their Buffs onto one or a handiful of ships.
The idea is that a group designates a player as "god", put every buff they have on him, and send him at the enemy while jamming and debuffing the enemy fleet. This results in not only god being nigh unkillable and very resistant to being disabled due to the large numbers of engineering and science teams, but, provided that there are a large number of Engineering Captains with EPS transfer, it makes god a very potent and fast dpser. Imagine what would happen to an Escort with several hundred points of power in every system who can recharge his weapons faster than he can use them. Heck, at that level of energy, turrets would hit harder than cannons and beam overload would one shot pretty much anything.
It's a simple, straight forward all-eggs-in-one-basket approach that may pay off quite well with minimal risks. Of course, if god is jammed, then all your effort is wasted, but then again, god could still take out maybe a couple enemies if he uses the fire-at-will power and gets lucky.
Obviously supporting god is important, not only in debuffing, distracting, and jamming the enemy, but in sending fake gods with him so that he's not the only target for debuffs and jamming. Fake gods will of course be much slower than god, so faking out pvpers may be difficult.

Though it is amazing to look back and see a fairly good prediction of how the game's gone. :P
but take time also to see how the OP's mentality of buffing and teamwork comes to the fore.

Nope. Escorts are already 'God in a Starship'. Attack Omega's ludicrous defensive buffs and Tac Team's auto shield balance makes it so.
this is also a very "yesterday" point of view, since escorts were pushed off the throne of DPS a year ago...
both of the abilities you mention are available to a large number of sci vessels or cruisers these days, and cruisers are pretty much the pinnacle of DPS now.
A2B cruisers are all that now, and for the last one and a half years.
