  I was experiencing horrible lag at around 3 PM EST (8 PM GMT).

  I've been getting serious lag, server not responding, and disconnects frequently over the last month or so. It has really been bad the last two days. Right now I can't even play for more than a minute without hanging up or being disconnected.

  175K EC? Wow, man, that sucks! You should totally call up tech support and stay on the line till you get your EC back...
  
  
  A short while back, right after they added the 100 item limit in your mailbox, the mail system was having some hiccups, and mails were getting lost. I lost, at least, over 17M EC back then.
