Missing outfit piece?

I can't find the specific chest gear for my KDF aligned Romulan.
It appears in both of these pictures posted by both devs and one player.
I think haven't seen anyone even using that specific piece when I have been in game. Has it been removed or am I missing something?

This is my character and I can't find it, atleast it's not placed in the chest gear category.

    The rom-kdf chest gear was removed, during testing in beta everyone noted that it clipped into the character model, worse still if your character had a bear chest/throat area the metal bits would clip into the skin. So cryptic removed it and never fixed it.

    Glad to help, it's a shame because I think it looks better than the fed chest pouches.

    Yeah I think so too. Is it somehow related to the mysterious " KDF captains cannot switch to all costume slots. " bug, which has been in the release notes for some time?

    That I have no idea, things become bugged and unfortunately we don't know how it started or when it will be fixed, gotta love mmo's.
