How do I block fleet invites?

I don't know what's happened in the last month or so but there's no character or item in the game I'd rather shoot more right now than the person who just sent me a fleet invite, just after another person sent me a fleet invite, moments after I just declined a fleet invite. I know I can block people, but that's not really effective as a preventative measure.

Please tell me there's an option I've missed or trick I don't know about so I can traverse sector space in peace. Heck, I can't even fly past ESD anymore, it's like walking through a car lot on a slow day.

Would also like to know if there is an auto-decline myself in some menu I might have missed.

I don't mind fleets sending me a tell and asking if I want to join, but blind invites do have a tendency to get a bit aggravating especially if you are getting spammed repeatedly by the same person.

I don't like having to put people on ignore, but if it gets too bad I have to, just to keep from getting another blind invite from the same person.

And yea, blocking only goes so far and I would rather not keep adding names to my list if there was a better solution avail.
An auto decline would block all un-asked for invites and no one would have to be put on ignore and etc.

There are various settings to block Private Messages and Team Invites within the privacy menu as well as hide you from showing on the main whois list.

It is found by clicking the Down Arrow on mini-map for the context menu. Then click Social. Go to the first tab screen, Find Team. Down on the bottom right should now be a button labeled Privacy. Click this.

Setting Search Visibility it to Friends Only or Anonymous may also deter people from seeing you on the whois list, and cut down on random invites.

The other radial dial options there are self explanatory. Hopefully these options will help reduce this annoyance for you.

I do agree though, we need a true way to block fleet invites.

Those do NOT work. I have had several childish users spam invites.

Probably the best way to thwart fleet invites is to form your own fleet. Get 4 others to help you make a fleet and then kick them from the fleet. Reward/pay them for their service.

To block fleet invites... press the 'o' key to bring up the social menu.. then the go the to 'search' tab, then in the lower right corner is a 'privacy' button... click that and look down the list til you find it. Hope this helps!
