Weapons Not Remembered in Power Tray

I'm using a Fleet Defiant that runs the Borg Kinetic Cutting Beam, Nukara Web Mine Launchers, and a Gravimetric Torpedo along with a standard array of Fleet Antiproton DHCs.

After I save a loadout, I switch to another ship. The equipment that was on the Defiant moves over and shows up perfectly on the new ship, a C-Store version of the Multi-Vector Advanced Escort. I set up a new power tray (including weapon placements) and played a test battle to see how everything worked. (MVAE is still fun after all this time, btw. :) )

When I switched back to my Defiant, 3 of my power tray positions were messed up. They had the Web Mines, Cutting Beam, and Gravimetric Torpedo originally listed and saved. When the ship came back, it was showing the Cutting Beam in the wrong slot and 2 of my DHCs instead of the Web Mines and Gravimetric Torpedos.

I switched back to my MVAE and am having similar problems. It's not remembering the exact placing of my weapons.

Has anyone else run into these issues?

This has been happening forever. It happens when a weapon gets equipped into a previously empty weapon slot. The system somehow does not retain the information that it is the same weapon and therefore puts it in whatever a default location might be.

Yeah this is another annoying skill tray bug that is present since long time ago, and so far, never fixed. I thought with the skill tray fixes from the last patch this will be solved, but well, i guess i was too optimistic lol.

We just need to live with these issues, and to be used to play the game with all these bugs presents, since cryptic will never fix em (if by now it isnt.. dont think they will anytime soon).

Grrr... this is is one of the feature they were supposed to have implemented in the patch... when you save your loadout, it's SUPPOSED to save your gear, boffs stations, and power tray... I saved my loadout, created a second, messed with it a bunch, and switched back. BAM... all my icons are F'd. it didn't save the action bars at all. This makes the loadout switching totally usesless!!!

I was wondering if I was the only anyone having problems with the ship load out system NOT saving bridge officers load out positions?

Every time I switch ships my bridge offices do not auto populate there bridge positions even after multiply attempts to save the named ship load out.

It should be noted that the saved load out message does come up so I am doing that right.
Also I am using the Equip load out icon but nothing happens.

I'm having the same issue, I set up the loadout, switch to another ship, set up a loadout there, then when I switch back and forth, neither ship has the correct bridge officers and some bridge officer slots are completely empty.

I'd say there are some bugs to work out in the loadout system still..

After all that hype about how we are going to all love the new ship load out system it ends up being a useless bug ridden lemon as per usual? Talk about Lowered expectations?

Same issue for me. I saved all my loadouts and experimented with it for 3 hours today. I switched between several ships but it never seems to remember the bridge officer layout, which determines the tray icons, thus it's useless to me since that's the most frustrating thing to set up after switching ships.

Even if I select the right bridge officers it still puts the abilities in incorrect places. More the tactical stations than anything else. At one point it kind of got it right but it had the wrong tactical character in the wrong station and the other empty so the ability icons were still wrong.
I almost wonder if it's spacing in characters names or something, I don't know what's causing the problem.

I guess I'll go back to the titanfall beta and then elder scrolls online until they fix this. At this point with all the ships I have and the inability to switch between them and retain the tray abilities in the correct locations, makes the game too much a chore to play. Kinda funny after all these years they can't get this right but indie game devs or independents with alot less money and a similar tray of abilities or power setups, can fix the problem easily.

Hopefully they fix it though, but I'm sure they care more about TRIBBLE content and alienating non fleet player content, than fixing anything that could potentially be awesome aaaaaaaaaaaaand I am also at a university, so good stuff!
