federation revamp

just starting to replay the missions and I don't see what was revamped... maybe a list would be nice but so far I see:

-incomplete voice acting
-bugs such as away team not beaming in
-interior and exterior size of shuttle not matching, among everything else being to small or too large
-choppy cutscenes and animation (especially undine mutating)

maybe I'm being picky, but I expected something noticeably better, all I see is incomplete content still. I feel like I am playing a beta test game compared to a polished product.

well heres some off the top of my head

1+ hours of actual intro and story telling at the beginnnig of the game that is totally new including a great new tutorial

1+ unique bridge officer who is voiced throughout the entire new section

Cadet clothing and interaction with voice over

    Academy training on earth

etc etc The revamp to the beginning of the fed gameplay is great work if you ask me

rubberbanding and bugs are a global problem not specific to the beginning content. There's a number of memory leaks in the system right now affecting animations and textures that need to be addressed. Put in bug reports is all I can say.

As far as the undine transformation goes, if they didn't make that similar to the transformation we've seen in the newest feature episode called "A Step Between the Stars" then I can understand the frustration. I know cinematics can take a while but it's worth it to do them the same way throughout the game imo. If they left in the same crappy animation they had before when the undine transformed on Vulcan that's too bad.

The size of the interiors is boosted and has been all along because if they made the size of everything actual size it would appear tiny and be hard to move around in. This was something they spoke about years ago at launch.

I'm the first to be in here complaining about things (like the ongoing beam out of your own bridge thing) but to me these are really non-issues other than keeping things similar to newer missions fixing bugs like memory leaks.

I did make a new character and go through the new tutorial... It was pretty good... Too bad the rest of the content isn't as polished.

I don't know how much of it was changed because I'm on my first run through, but I really liked the Doomsday Weapon mission. I thought the end where the Kilngon was singing during his suicide run was a really inspired moment in an entire campaign which thus far has been a little 'meh'...
Also the tutorial was excellent. Sadly the rest of the Kilingon War content doesn't match up!

As far as i've seen. Some environments got a revamp. Voice acting and most of the plot remained untouched. Which there is no problem to that. I did notice the lack of hidden lobi rewards though. lol
