    The only reason I can think of is that it keeps his shields up with just one EPTS, but that seems like such a criminal waste of 3 doff slots. It's certainly not accelerating any other skills, since he doubled up on them.

    Maybe he's just throwing it in there because he heard "Aux2Batt Makes Everything Better".

    Reverse shield polarity all the way, the only real ability every escort should have imo, especially as your career is tac and you naturally lack of healing

    Other than that, you have no use of the proton weapon in rear (will never ever come in firing arc) :)

    does the experimental weapon even go in a rear slot?

    the cloak console is pretty much a waste for PVE.
    missing are the KCB and the assimilated console, i'd get rid if the cloak and the fleet embassey console and add a 5th fleet locator console.

    and ofcourse as mentioned by others...either get aux2sif1, or RSP1. personally prefer aux2sif1
    aux2batt with technicians makes zero sense on a build that has already doubled up a number of abiliites.

    scatter volley is glorious in PVE, not so anymore in PVP

    you now have no torp launcher, therefore torp powers are wasted.
    i'd suggest a DBB and BO2 somewhere...makes great "out of cloak" strikes
    2xAP omega is ok, if you do PVP with this build.

    srsly, get rid of the quad cannon. Those are excellent for leveling and grinding for gear, and to a certain extend in PVE, but then they are kind of just "meh"

    and the dyson console alone is TRIBBLE, either use it with the torp launcher or with the experimental weapon (though the weapon is significantly weaker than a DBB with BO)
    *edit: the experimental weapon is total garbage

    I'd go DBB, fueled maybe with a weapon battery and the doffs that add DMG for the duration of the battery.
