Party Box - 500 dili or Random Item?

So far I'm taking the Dili, anyone get anything worth more in the box?

    No I tried one.

    It was just one of those double consumables.

    It was a surprise though as I thought I would receive something worth 500 Dil.

    Nope, the box contains quite powerful ground combat consumables but nothing else or anything too fancy.

    You can keep some IV year party poppers, they will sell for a lot in half+ a year. Or just go with the Dil.

    Correction: 500 ore or random TRIBBLE.

    Dilithium is valuable, ore is comparable to TRIBBLE.;)

    How much could we expect the IV year party poppers to sell for? I am taking the Dil on all my characters but I might take one character and use them just for party poppers if they can bring in good EC to pool together in my account bank.

    I've been going for the box. Dil is nice and all but the characters i'm doing it for usually max out every day anyway.

    Mathwise, they will have to sell at least 50,000 EC each for them to be equal to the 500 Dil.

    Turn Confiscated Contraband: 5x Contraband for 2000 Dil
    500 Dil / 2000 dil = 0.25
    0.25 x 5 contraband = 1.25

    500 Dil = 1.25 contraband that sells at around 40,000 EC per unit (last time I checked)

    1.25 x 40,000 EC = 50,000 EC

    I have gotten a couple of 1k XP boost tickets (worth 100k EC) otherwise trash loot in the box

    I am going to start taking the Dil, just because I'm out on a couple of the sci toons that are bothering to do it

    I'll probably take the box awhile longer, just for the surprise factor. So far I did get a decent ground armor, a couple of 1000 exp bonus chits which I tossed up on the Exchange, and a Tetryon pistol which got recycled.

    If you are here for loot, take the dilithium. ;)

    I'm stockpiling the "Horns".


    THey always sell for a good amount once the event has passed.

    I got a purple mk XI shield in the party box today. This particular one appears to be selling on the exchange for 200k ec. I picked up a 1k point boost, but then a bunch of the random junky consumables.

    I really need to generate more dil, I probably should just pick that...

    those horns...ugh. I change instances just to get away from the annoyance. At least my rebuilt computer is not brought to the edge of crashing by all the balloons and confetti like my old system suffered from last year.

    So help me, if year 5 has vuvuzela horns....

    I got a 1000 skill point bonus pack in one. Mostly just gettting shields and armors though. Nothing stupendous or anything. I'm thinking the Dilithium is the better accumulated reward at this point.

    Random box. The items aren't very good but I can get EC right away, versus waiting for the horns' value to go up or yet more Dil I can't refine.

    Back in the 2nd year anniversary I went with the box and realised how much unless junk they processed. So these days I get just the dilithium. 500 for a quick run around the academy and having to put up with those nasty presents when the NPCs walk through them all the time.

    500 dilithium is a good reward, so much requires it these days you can never have too much dilithium. My main has over 50k unrefined but the good part of that is, I don't have to do much or anything just log on and refine.

    I take either the horns or the minerals. The random vendortrash is junk, but you always require more minerals. However, I suspect the horns from this year will be the least valuable, because unlike previous years, this year enforces mandatory attendance, so there will be about 15 times more horns than before.

    2-3 Minutes for 500 dil or an annoying horn, or a random item worth about 150 ec.

    depends on if you like lobi batteries or not. ive gotten several sets of five off of my 10 toons so far. saving me in the long run really.

    dont tell the guy in the other thread who was complaining about people using party poppers and disco balls.

    When I think about everything we've been through together,

    maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,

    always the dil, the dilithium is the reason most of my characters will end up with a solanae ship even though im not really after them ,but they are down there getting their lore dil , might as well pick up this extra 500 dil as well.

    Aye. 980 Dil for five minutes 'work' is nothing to be sniffed at.
