Cryptic, please remove cooldowns from STFs

Just implement a system where rewards are only awarded once every hour and then drop the cooldown, everyone from DPS-Public to DPS-50k would have your babies forever.

No point if there are no rewards. The system is fine as is. You have 8 STFs to use.

We already have a hardcap on dilithium refining, we don't need more limits in how much we can progress in one day.

    ^^-- this.

Make the cooldown 15 minutes, even, if anything. There's almost no reason to have cooldowns on STFs anymore, what with the rep system replacing the omega store on DS9.

I think the idea is to get you to play other content besides the same STF over and over again.

You guys are missing the point: They don't care about the reward, and "running some other STF" is basically useless because benchmarking requires a consistent standard. They're doing this purely for benchmarking. Marks, minerals, drops, none of these things they care about. They just want to run the same thing over and over to achieve consistent test environment. For them, the completion time alone is the reward.

I assume you want to play more STF's in a day, without having to deal with the cooldown. That's fine I love playing STF's (that's all I really do on this game now a days), but I don't think they'll do this, because then the STF's will become a farm fest.
One day Cryptic will be free from their Perfect World overlord. Until that day comes, they will continue to pamper the whales of this game, and ignore everyone that isn't a whale.

"Farm fest" implies they wanted a reward. They don't. Like the man said, he wants a place to wave his e-Peen. For the guys who have everything, that's all the reward they care about.
