Hirogen Lock Box Available

Read more about the new Hirogen Lock Box in this Dev Blog and in the new FAQ.

Also, purchase a Master Key from the in-game C-Store today to unlock one and claim its contents.

    Heard players talking about some upcomihng Hirogen ship...which ship and where did they get their information from?

    The Hirogen Lock Box is not available ... because no one can play STO at the moment. ;)

    I am slightly disappointed that the new reputation mark bonus pools are bind on pickup. :rolleyes:

    Thank you to all those people who didn't want their Heavy Cruiser Retrofits and put them on the Exchange - saved me opening boxes to find one. :)

    Like I cannot launch the game 6 hours and 30 minutes past the official end of update period.

    The Negh'var is almost as hard to get as the primary ship, but I got one and that is all I wanted from this lockbox. :D

    Kudos STO team, you are being very productive.

    Has anyone calculated the odds for the Hirogen Heavy Escort? I just spent over $200 in Zen and still haven't received the ship.

    I still reckon a more varied colour palette should be used for the Hirogen armour. Currently a bit of a waste, customisation wise.

    I was really, really, stoked about the new destabilized tetryon weapons being released. I had thought that the "eroding" action would be in addition to the regular tetryon damage change, to do damage to all shields. As well, I had hoped that this new weapon would have a higher chance of being activated, say at a 5% level.

    Instead, the new weapon eroding ability, replaces that of the damage to all shields chance rate of 2.5%, meaning less damage over a greater amount of time. This is not an upgrade, but rather a downgrade. Why anyone would buy these, I don't know.

    Very disappointed, I "was" really looking forward to these wagons today, until I noticed how lame they are. Maybe one day, a worthwhile Tetryon weapon will come out, but not today.

    Well someone took the time to test it out on Tribble server to get a rough estimate of the drop rates http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=1002691 Looks like about a 0.44% chance to get the ship.

    ok the mirrors cruiser when you go to customize it. you only got the constellation saucer and that it. for the constellation class. i like to see the rest of the constellation part to pick form on the customizing of the ship. pleas thank you
