is just one in a few of these ive had, its taken the forum 15minutes just to get to the forum, login, general to this thread and reply, assuming it makes it that far.
seems the same issues that hit LoR has hit again i suspect considering it feels and acts like it.
lol same problem accessing the site, probably was them updating the message "we are aware we ****ed up twice, please wait while we make a quick fix that'll last another 2 hours" xD
Just put it down as long as it takes to MAKE SURE its fixed crypt, people may whine and complain but they'll whine and complain MORE if they keep doing the same event mission over and over again and never completing it lol
Sure, I ran one cycle of the "Chase mini-Qs" grind mission right after the update went live.
...then realized how annoyingly tedious it was, went and watched a movie, came back and found the servers are acting the same way about it as I- nearly throwing up. :P
I managed to get through the mission even enduring two unexplained disconnections and I did the first Q party mission...
Apart from the looks, the new ship is pretty good with my sci toon skill setup. Can't wait to play around with a build for it.
But seriously Cryptic, I know Shard finished earlier than the stated time mostly likely with many pats on the back but you probably should have used the full time you allocated and done some more system testing and stress testing before letting all the kids through the park gates..
The villagers want blood now :-) but in all honesty, this is a fairly average performance from you guys on such a big occasion.

Have they given an estimate for a fix?? I don't want to have to read every page to find a dev response??

I have to credit when credit is due however and that is Cryptic diced up the FE in that its never exactly the same each replay. Has various different random hazards, puzzles as well as console placement. Nice job. On the other hand it also means I can't simply go autopilot on this mission either meaning it takes a bit longer to run then other FEs.

I remember the servers being less than cooperative the first day of the Winter event, too. I suppose I will take solace in the fact that the TOS dress uniforms are not the most attractive outfits and that I can acquire enough Qmendations to get the ship in far less time than this event's supposed to run.
this is nuts, 2nd time trying to finish new mission and just finished destroying undine dreadnoughts when it crashed again. I'm going to be pissed if I have to start battle in 2nd dyson sphere all over again. Cryptic needs to find a way to apologize for this TRIBBLE up!!!

Brutal honesty time: While not quite "the norm," this really isn't all that unusual for any major update.
