Anniversary ships, Tactical mode

Ok, so I just read the specs on these things (again) and a question arose in my head that a dev could save me a test for :)

If I put down a level 3 grav well and then switch to tactical mode, what happens to the grav well?

    I heard a rumor that the GW persists. Much like if you drop the GW and die...the GW's still there.

    Default Mode...GW3!
    Switch to Tac Mode...CSV3 the grouped targets!
    CSV expires...switch back to Default Mode (start the 60s CD on being able to hit Tac Mode again).
    Build up Sensor Analysis.
    GW3...Tac...CSV...over and over and over and over!

    Or so I heard a rumor...

    I think you're right because the GW isn't really coming from your ship like a tach beam or some other power. you spawn the gw or tykens. I'm sure, however, that there will be some cd after switching modes.

    just think...VM3...

    Don't think it will be bad though.

    you sure 60 seconds?...all other things have a 3 min cd.

    I wonder if the Sensor Analysis stacks will go away when you activate Tactical mode or will they stay (though unable to get more stacks) until you go back to science mode?

    So with now a built in proton cannon, and the dyson rep proton weapon, can we now expect even more proton weapons? Or are we to assume the two is all there is for a possible full proton build?

    Reading comprehension fail. Im not talking about the ability but the stacks of buffs that you get from the ability/ debuffs to your opposition.

    GW Stays out... VM stays out... Tykens... debuffs from CPB, anything you fire and forget would stay out.

    Channeled skills like TBR will shut off when the skil greys out... about a 2s delay or so.

    Any stacks you had of Sensor Ann will drop off, same effect as if you change target. The conversion is about a 2-3s process so just like if you switch target for to long you loose the stack same thing. The new bonuses you would get to skill from your secondary defelector are all disabled as well. So in tactical mode any other science skills used that would be buffed by the secondary deflector will not gain that buff. Your passive stats boosted by it will also drop to levels not counting its buffs.

    I'm going to have to try the drain target (ES3+TR2) and then blow up target combo.

    The switching aint got nothing on the fact the rom one is going to be the literal god of the game.

    Set 3 + Valdore console + good damage output (its a fricken romulan ship, of course itll have good damage) = it will literally be healing its shields and hull as fast as it kills things, passively.

    The switching aint got nothing on the fact the rom one is going to be the literal god of the game.

    Set 3 + Valdore console + good damage output (its a fricken romulan ship, of course itll have good damage) = it will literally be healing its shields and hull as fast as it kills things, passively.

    Plus, of the three, it's the only one with battle cloak. I just created a new reman sci, specifically, for this ship (well, rather the c store 10 console version).

    Can't wait.

    Plus it's faster and more maneuverable than the Ha'nom is.

    and smaller so you don't get stuck because there's a BoP on your wing lol
