it is impossible to complete/hand in this mission and you cannot drop it! It also stops any further progress as the the first mission in "Warzone" cannot be accessed
I'm having the same problem. Keep getting the Mission Failed message. Gonna see if I need to review the info in my ready room.

I found a way around this mission. First i had to accept the T'nog Nebula exploration and the Welcoming the Federation tutorial missions under the Available tab of the Hailing/Missions window. Then I switch priority mission status to the Federation mission and dropped the Friend or Foe mission. Only after I did that did it let me skip this troubled mission. But my character was still level 7 and you need to be at least level 8 to start the new story arc. So I used the tutorial missions to level up and now I am happily working on the next mission right now. If this doesn't work for you I'm not sure what else to do.

As of this morning, I'm in the same boat. *shrug* I just dropped the mission, and will try doing it again later this afternoon, and see if things go better. If nothing else, it'll help guarantee I'll be at level 8 for the next mission in the chain....
I have the same problem as well. Report to K'mtar. Ok. But where is he? If I click on the thingy that sets a course to the mission it brings me back to Vor but nothing happens.
Standing next to Worf, there should be a button on your lower right hand corner of your screen with "Contact K'mtar".
I flew back and forth to Vol.. twice... and never noticed the button... <sigh>
They can have Kurland pop up a message 20 billion times it seems like in one mission but not K'mtar at the end of that mission, nor have the usual contact where the transwarp to objective is? Makes one wonder if an intern did a few of the missions the way there is no consistency except Kurland being annoying in a mission.
Anyway Thanks for pointing that out, I got so used to ignoring that corner of the screen since it usualy has nothing usefull there that I didnt see that as went to vor and back.

I just got this mission and I ran into the same issue...The only difference I had was after talking to Worf I left the area thinking he was in my ship. When I beamed back to the the first city I had a box to talk to K'mtar on the right hand side of my screen.

Same here, and the box only appeared when I returned to Worf.
I had this issue quite a bit. Even submitted a ticket for GM assistance. Their response was basically tough, we only deal with spam in the customer service department, figure it out yourself.
If you get this simply change instances a couple times at First City. I did it and on the 3rd attempt I got the dialogue.

It was, yeah. I got the option to contact K'mtar after returning to First City rather than trucking back out to Vor.
It is not fixed so please don't post fixed post unless it is in fact fixed
