Ladies and gentlemen, I am Yuzral and for day 1 of the 4th anniversary giveaway we have the Polytrinic Acid Horta. Holodeck Happenings therefore presents a small video looking at the new Ensign Rock and what he does to Klingons. And Orions. And possibly the deck plates.

    So, we only have to claim this on one character today, correct?

    That it didn't show up in my legacy unlock tab's throwing me for a loop.

    It's in the Personnel tab, not the Legacy tab and yes, it should just need to be claimed on one character today to be claimable on all after the promotion ends.

    I never actually checked the damage output of this Horta, but now I see it's rather poor, despite its description.

    The other Horta (blue-ish one) is far more useful. It doesn't do much damage but is a great tank even at the endgame, such as ground Elite STFs.

    Still, it's hard to complain about free stuff.

    Given its seemingly low damage the fact that it only lasts for 15 seconds is rather disappointing.

    Agreed. I hate how they nerfed the combat pets. They were a lot more useful before; not this beam-out after 15 secs of non-combat we have now.

    It ran out of Klingons. Assuming a sufficient supply of enemies/victims/food/playthings it'll hang around for 5 minutes, until it runs out of health or until it spends 15 seconds out of combat, whichever comes first.

    They really need to fix that; at least double the cooldown to 30 secs so it might see another battle. Usually it beams out after a single fight.

    Actually only had one toon which didn't have this horta, and two has both of combat horta pets (one also has the mastiff on a KDF). I give them to by away team members to deploy so I have have multiple combat pets deployed, lol.
