I had to laugh once when at ESD someone PM'd me to say I had a cool shipname (U.S.S. She made me NWS) while apparently having me in his ignore list (I might have gorn'd something in ESD zone chat).
Fun part here... I was writing a mail to say he had me on ignore *while starting NWS*. Accidently clicked fleet-mail :D.
That's quite the paradox, how could you nerf nerf when the nerf is nerfed. But how would the nerf be nerfed when the nerf is nerfed? This allows the nerf not to be nerfed since the nerf is nerfed? But if the nerf isn't nerfed, it could still nerf nerfs. But as soon as the nerf is nerfed, the nerf power is lost. So paradoxally it the nerf nerf lost its nerf, while it's still nerfed, which cannot be because the nerf was unable to nerf.
In the words of Bob Barker, "Bob Barker reminding you to help control the Caitian population. Have your Caitian officers spayed or neutered. Bye-bye ...
Schroedinger also makes a lot of appearances in patrickngo's ongoing collaborative fic in these very forums, under the collective title of "The Chase". These days, she commands the USS Wolfram, although given some of the things she's done in "Faces In the Flames", there's some question how much longer that will last...
I once had a Klingon named K'tang, son of P'tooey, but nobody ever really got it. (Think "spittoon".) Nor did they get the B'rotlh-class frigate IKS Khal'gon, although that might have to do with most folks here being too young to remember the old commercials ("Calgon, take me away!").
I have a Klingon who makes rare appearances: Waffle, Son of Krepe. When my friend was still playing, we'd intentions of getting a fleet going : House of P'nkakes or some such.
Thanks for the nod for Nerds of Prey, but some other great fleet names: Shutup Wesley, Insert Fleet Name, House of Snoo(who doesn't like futurama), Teelf Sdarwkcab, Imperial Revenue Service (IRS) to name just a few.
