Does anyone have any tips for completing the Omega Rep as cheaply and quickly as possible? I am currently at Tier II.

Elite STFs. Basically did ISE through PUGs every couple of days. Most were finished in about 10 minutes or less, but had a couple that took far longer. You are guaranteed 60 Omega Marks and up to 130 Omega Marks depending on certain factors like optional, random bonus, and bonus event.

As long as you listen to directions, follow the main group, heal your injuries before each match, and follow the 10% rule, then you can complete the ISE in common gear.

Elite STFs are really the only thing you can do to get mark efficiently and not be driven to madness. The gear and dil rewards are also very good. You really only have to do one every few days to get the marks you need. I assume, of course, you will wait to tier V before unlocking rewards.

If you are dead set on saving money, the best way is to create a Ferengi character and have him purchase all comodities from the traders flying around the Sol system. Traders sell almost all the kinds of commodities you will need cheaper than you can replicte them. Being a Ferengi gets you an off-the-top discount on all purchases with energy credits reducing your costs again. Then, just mail the stuff to the character who is actually doing the rep. Better if you have an account bank as you can easily transfer him all your ECs efficiently.

Next, only ever slot the mission which gives you 2000 rep points. Don't do the smaller mission. It dosen't really add up much faster and costs a lot more cash. The disadvantage is this will take longer.

Once you reach tier 5, however, all your other characters can at least get sponsorship which cuts things down quite a lot.

Elite STF's, entered from Publicelitestf channel or team with guildies, never pug.

Friends dont let friends pug, not even once.
New home of the Romulan Republic.
I have an idea for what Season 11 should be; Season 11: The Big Bug Fix.
I have not been able to read my bug tickets in over a year, not even the tickets about not being able to see my tickets.
I find the drama of your signature proof of your immaturity, this means you, DR whiners.

PUGs are always an adventure. Never know if you are going to complete the STF or get the optional or be completely surprised and get some time just as good as one of the elite channels. PUGging ISE has the least chance of failing the STF due to it being a nightmare to finish and is the only PUG that should be considered if you want to finish the STF in a reasonable amount of time.

i myself have almost completed it, only need the adapted maco ground set, so the way i did it is do the three borg space missions on elite difficulty not the hive one, then put the 2 missions that take 20 hours until you finish, the things these tasks ask can be found at vendors on esd for 100-200 ec cheaper.

now about the gear as you advance through the tiers take only the kinetic cutting beam, the assimilated module and the plasma torpedo and nothing else until you reach tier 5, then when you reach tier 5 you start getting what you want but only the mk12 ones, yes they are expensive etc but it's better to buy the mk12 than buy the mk10 the mk11 and then the mk12 version.

also i don't understand why everyone is saying no to pugs and only premades, i completed the omega reputation from the start till now with pugs and except some missions where it was a disaster, they are 10-20 at most and i have done almost 300 of them so you are going to be fine and if you lose a few times the optional there's no reason to start raging

I've never done anything but PUG the STFs. There is no reason to bother with premades at all, I seldom loose or even miss optionals. Most people have them figured out quite well by now and your not loosing anything really, but possibly time.

I'm not against premades if you like that sort of thing, I just can't see it being a requirement for anything in this game that is PvE.
