I read that d.stahl is Leaving the boat; i wish the guys the best; but Hey guys; im really happy; this are great news; im looking foward to see change into the Game play; to see new content with something else then lockboxe; to see an updated version of the crafting system (What you think we forgot about this ;) euh no!); to see some pvp rewards......and the upmost important; a New lead Director that might put more pression on cryptic to implement less Money aquired ships; id rather work and Earn it instead!

Welcome new guys.

Voting used to be a good idea, until you didn't get what you asked for in the vote anymore. Only "sort of". :P

this game is so done for now.. I had hope with stahl, I have always liked him, and always will.. he was a stand up guy, and to be honest, was more into us (the players) than the game I think.. it is too bad pwe silenced him, and stopped all the wonderfull stuff he did

as I have said before.. this game took its turn for the worse when he left before, pretty much right after he left, we got dilithium and every other mark you could think of. we went from being a fun adventurous game, to the ultimate grindfest when steve took over..

I know its clich?, but DOOOM... if there was ever a time to say it this is it.. this game barely survived one year without stahl, I don't think it can do to well without him again..

I also believe that his leaving is more a reflection on the game, than on him wanting to start a new project. the man is a die hard star trek fan.. but you could tell by his interviews that he wasn't having "fun" with sto anymore.. you used to hear him get excited and be on the edge of his seat.. that hasn't happened since pwe took over and he returned..

I am truly glad he is moving to another project.. all abeit I wish he would move to a different company where his ideas and enthusiasm can be appreciated and used, but none the less, maybe hell make a difference on this new game..

good luck DStahl, I fully appreciate all you have done for this game..

I remember Mr. Stahl promised more in-game music at some point. He kept his word to the letter. Just had to say something nice, before this is archived in the great digital heaven. :)

Stahl wasnt exactly the most reliable EP nor the most effective. so if D'Angelo can get the job done point to point exactly as what was put out to the community at a future date then he will have succeed at not only filling those large shoes but expanding the size into his own. so for now there is some windows of opportunity this year to show some good faith on his part with some content between the FE thats rumored in a month from now, the summer event on risa, and the expansion for later in the year, there is a gap between feb. and june and july to whenever the expansion is out, if he can promise on some content or changes on sto in those gaps then he would have a solid start for 2015 where the decisions are his own and not hand-me-downs from stahl.

I have to say, I'm going to kinda' miss Dan. :(

This swoop out of the blue gives me the feeling of being under the cloak of uncertanity.

Dan has not left Cryptic. He moved over to a secret project. So PWE has not silenced him, clearly he is working on something that requires more of his attention. My hope is that it is something to do with STO. Either way I wish him well and welcome aboard Stephen. I hope this time things go a bit more smoothly for you.

pretty much this. like i said in the main thread i hope this changes sto for the better. unfortunatly i just don't thinki so. the game could be a million times better. don't get me wrong it's a good game but not the best or greatest by a long shot. i wonder how this game would of turned out if pwe never took over.
