Had no problems at all yesterday, and the first two times I switched characters today went smoothly. After that though, every time I go to switch, I get timed out trying to connect to the login server. Getting old really fast.
Hello. My name is iamynaught and I am an altaholic.
I got a server not responding error which actually bounced me back to the login screen for the first time last night.
Murphy's laws:
1- Murphy’s Law tells us that anything that can go wrong will go wrong.
2- And anything that does go wrong will get progressively worse.
3- And if you survive the first two laws it’s time to panic.
Change the proxy to US in the launcher options, seems to have worked for me. Apparently the official response is that there are ISP issues this side of the Atlantic.

I have "Server not responding" every time i transport into a mission, transport out from a mission, change instance, beam to ship, etc, etc, etc. And then have to login again.
Same for my two friends who play this game.

No problems in any other games.
Any solution to this?

I had a response from cogent that actually makes a lot of sense. There are no problems on my network, with my equipment or with my ISP.
The Tracert results are about as useful as a chocolate teapot once you hit a device the deprioritises ICMP traffic.
The game was pretty much unplayable on Friday, but was ok on Sat and Sunday, until very late on Sunday night. It's been awful again today.
I think Cryptic need to take another good look at this.
