The Voth Bulwark

So I recently purchased the bulwark, initially as an investment, but now I'm having a change of heart and thinking I might fly it instead. But when it comes to builds and classes I'm a little clueless. I want to fly it on a fed, I've got a nice fed engineer with a full mk XII maco set. Would it be a good idea to fly it on her, or would a tact or science captain be better?

The ship is built for healing I believe so a tac will not really not get the best use out of it. It's not much but hope it helps.

I would suggest you copy your Fed character with the boxed up Bulwark to tribble so you can test the ship there without any repercussions. Not fun to buy one of these very expensive ships and find out that you can't stand it after you bought it.

I didn't think about testing it on tribble. It's good advice, thanks.

I think I'm in love with the bridge alone!

Yes, engineer for Bulwark. People get bulwark for the loltank.

There's no such thing as too much gank. Not so for tank. Honestly, it's not much use outside of trolling pvpers with.

If you don't already know what to do with it, to the point of asking about putting tac or sci in it, chances are, you'll be just as happy or happier with the handling of a cheaper boat.

Lol, I got it for the tank, and the cloak since I have the Palisade. Maybe someday I can amass enough EC to buy the Bulwark.

Maybe something along the lines of that: http://skillplanner.stoacademy.com/?build=bwdreadsimple_0

The Torp front is a placeholder for the wide angle torp the ship is shipped with.

Good build #8 ut I would like to hear from someone who has flown it in PVP or STFs with that build. Also I have this ship and have not unpacked it yet. I'm a TAC and with the Commander Eng slot I can bulid a great A2B build. I currently fly the JHD and it is my go to ship. I pump out 13000 to 18000 DPS all the time and can Tank and kill my share in PVP.

Love to hear from anyone who also has this ship...

Marion 5 doffs of your choice

    http://skillplanner.stoacademy.com/?build=auxvothbul_0
Marion, 2 techs, rsp doff, 2 shield distribution doffs

Either build looks like a lot of fun. Blank spots reserved for the 3 consoles

Honestly I don't believe any ship is worth 300+ Million EC. With careful planning and investing you would never have to grind for EC ever again.

If it sells then it is indeed worth the price tag
Supply and demand is a harsh mistress.

And when you can make 30m average a day...it's not all too bad

It actually doesn't sell. The few that are there are just sitting on the exchange, being reposted month after month.
