STO mobile app please!

I'd like a mobile app for checking my duty officers to be added to the game for when I'm bored & away from my computer. It can't be too hard to create a tie in mobile app to manage duty officers can it?

    They already have a mobile app or more accurately a website called the Gateway. You can check your ship equipment, bridge officers, away team equipment, accolades, and manage your fleet. Duty Officers is more complicated since people want to start assignments with it.

    It's been in beta for years. The manhattan project took less time to get out of beta
    Should I start posting again after all this time?

    I would totally support a mobile app, the beta as it stands has quite a few glitches. I find when I contribute to my fleet it doesn't register that I've contributed. I get that doing this for duty offs would be hard, but there needs to be more integration with the game, like the replicator, inventory, and bank, so if you have assets you can buy the items required for fleet projects via replicator.. The same way you do in game.

    I think the first add on should be the reputation system to the gateway. But the slow laggy and glitchy response from the web app needs to be changed to a mob app first, at least we could have a slider bar that works lol.

    Maybe you could have your ship move to different sectors whilst you're away, surely this would be a bit off maths to calculate how long it would take to travel in game to the destination, and update the last location setting on the game the next time you log in, that would be cool.

    I also think you could do the doff assignments for the sector/map you're in.. Remotely. That would prob reduce any issues transferring doff to gateway mob app.

    The gateway for Neverwinter has access to Profession assignments, which is their version of the Duty Officer system. The technology exists, so I imagine it's only a matter of time (and resources) until we get it.
