Seperation issues

So I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but it's the close place i could figure out.

I have a Federation, Klingon, and Romulan charactor in the game. My issue is some what with the ship feature of my Federation and Klingon charactor, both of them have a ship with some sort of seperation. My federation charactor has the Odyssey Class Cruiser with the Chevron seperation and the Aquarius Escort. My Klingon has the Bortasqu' Class Cruiser with the HoH'Sus Bird-of-Prey. In both cases when the ships are seperated there is no way to monitor the health of the seperated part. Recently I have been playing my Klingon charactor pretty heavy; several times i have looked around to check on my Bird-of-Prey and have not been able to find it because once it get to much damage it just cloaks and sits there. Sometimes it dies early in a match and sometimes halfway through or at the end. The federation seperations just sit there burning. In eather case there is no way to monitor there health so you could call them back before it's to let. Don't get me wrong i understand that they aren't fighters that i can control, but it would be nice to be able monitor them so you could treat them as a member of your team.

Thank you for your time, i Hope this gets to the right place and whom ever deals with this type of stuff will consider fixing this issue.

I don't know if this is the answer you're looking for, but you can manually pin the ships health icon to your HUD by physically clicking on the ship and then pressing the thumb-tack button.

this is an issue my multivector suffers from. the other sections have been known to die seconds after use. i made a topic at one point asking cryptic to focus some fixes on these ships as they are really popular ships, but their special console might as well be removed do to unhelpful pets that act like complete dorks.

there's still been no change to this unfortunately, so we can only hope that more attention is brought to these ships in the future.

you know, you can still recall a separated pet, even if it is "destroyed," it'll still have full health the next time you use it.

This hadn't occured to me, nice one.

I have a toon thats trying to get the hang of the Gal-retro, losing track of that saucer so often has made me strongly consider junking the console.

This idea gives it a reprieve.

What is the thumb-tack button? I'll give this a try and thanks.

Cryptic should still consider making a screen for them simular to the fighter screen that carriers, simitars, and Obilesk have.

Yep i know this. The problem is that if I can't see it then I dont know if it's dead or not. In a lot of matches with my fleet members when I'm running my romulan simitar with its advanced drones i will lose track of the drones. If i ask if anyone sees my drones they are usually on the other side of the map helping on that side.

At least carriers have an interface unless you choose to hide it, with separated parts though, they're off on their own and you can only hope you can keep track off them, sure you can target and focus them but you can only focus one part at a time and that can be a pain if you are trying to do that and deal with a battle at the same time.
Separated parts should have a carrier type control interface because the AI for those things right now is like that embarrassing relative that no-one wants to talk about.
If something is not broken, don't fix it, if it is broken, don't leave it broken.
    Oh Hell NO to ARC

I agree. Players should be able to give basic commands (Attack, Defend, Return) for the separated parts.
