Ferengi D'Kora Bridge over sight?

breygornbreygorn Member Posts: 189 Arc User
Alright, after so many countless nights wishing upon the stars...
I finally was lucky enough to be bestowed upon this illustrious vessel :}
OK, the toon is a Ferengi and has (I think) all of the Ferengi related items.
Though not sure about one of the shirts since I bought one and don't know which one
it was that I bought and the right click graphic looks the same for both... :/
any way, on to the topic of this post;

Where oh where is the crew deck !!!

There is no place to display the magnificent Latinum trophies! :{
( unless I totally missed something. lol )

Of all ships in the multi-verse... This is the one that should have a trophy room!

    Like all lockbox ships, there is only a bridge. The rarity of the ships and time-consuming nature of creating ship interiors results in there being a bridge only.

    That said, not the first time trophy shelves on the D'Kora for your latinum has been suggested. I still think they should add them.

    Honestly, I'd pay lobi to update my D'kora's bridge to include a trophy room:

    200 lobi

    D'kora Interior Redecorating

    Changes the interior of your D'kora to be roomier. The main bridge is unaltered, but instead of just the dabo room, instead it is split in two, with one room housing the Trader and Bank/Mail/Exchange access, and the other housing a full trophy room (4 wall, 1 floor, like the normal crew deck) and the dabo table, and the back containing a bedroom that holds all the pleasures that latinum can buy, with a small hallway between all 3 areas.
    I remain empathetic to the concerns of my community, but do me a favor and lay off the god damn name calling and petty remarks. It will get you nowhere.
    I must admit, respect points to Trendy for laying down the law like that.

    Also missing a broker.

    I'd be fine if the various lockbox ships were hooked up to the 'standard' interiors via their turbolifts or such (its not like the standard interiors match any of the 'free' bridge choices for normal ships anyway)

    At the very least they should have put a floor trophy slot for the latinum piles :P

    ah, didn't realize about the broker...

    yea, even adding the generic layout would be nice.

    I visited the other decks on my ship at least once a month but I stopped when I got a lockbox ship and now only can visit its bridge.

    No, it would not.

    Outside some rather strange people, NOBODY visits the bridge unless they have to (Account Bank and those missions Cryptic forces us to) let alone the other decks because they are pointless.

    There is nothing to do there and if it was something to do there it would not be effective, I recall when Heretic moved things from Sector to Interior contacts inside the ship and I dont recall anyone jumping in joy about having to waste their time with loading screens to check for DOFF assignments, it didnt take long until they got added to a console and Department Heads.

    Unique bridges without "worthless waste of space" is a feature because I bet none of you go every day check if the Sickbay is still there, in fact I doubt any of you actually visited other decks in months.

    Again, more functionality for ship interiors would result in increased ship interior usage.

    A wise Ferengi doesn't stack up his latium where anyone could steal it! He invests it careful, using it to navigate the waters of the material continium to maximize profits, which in turn reinvested to boost further. Hehehehe.

    They'll be time for stacking your latanium in the Divine Treasurary.

    That just means that the D'Kora should not only have a trophy room...
    but also a vault too! ;}

    If nothing else, we should have the option of using the default generic layouts,
    even if we do have a unique bridge.

    Canonically, Ferrengi ships apparently DO have a Vault: When Ferrengi raiders raided the Enterprise, they were surprised to find that Enterprise didn't have a vault. Of course, they also asked a dog this.

    Indeed I've just got my D'kora and thought I had a glitch because the OBVIOUS trophy placement panels on the wall of the dabo room & obvious (or so I thought) floor trophy placement areas either side of the door didn't seem accessible. Surely this wouldn't be too difficult to transfer this programming from a standard bridge / crew area to ours.

    Personally I would like the traditional Ferengi welcome to my home, played to anyone I invite over to use my table, mail, bank, exchange with the option for them to give a donation.

    Whilst I'm at it why isn't there a DoF assignment option in all captains personal quarters for more intimate personal missions, Many officers had 'meals' in their quarters with a friend.

    The D'kora isn't the only ship hurting for a complete interior, hell the entire Romulan ship line has nowhere to display trophies.
    If something is not broken, don't fix it, if it is broken, don't leave it broken.

    It's not just the lockbox ships. Andorian escorts, which are C-store ships, don't have anything but a bridge, either.
