The new fed tutorial is great!

Congrats to the developers for putting together this awesome new tutorial for new fed captains. I especially enjoyed the nice flow of the story and how it had it's very start at the academy.

The key to making this game fun is storyline, storyline and storyline. This is a trek based game, not just a dumb space/person shooter.

    It is a lot better, no doubt. However in missions after that Elisa Flores is just another boff and not at all used like Tovan Khev is in the LOR expansion. Now a lot of players are going to say that is a good thing, however I wish Cryptic would go through some of the episodes like Doomsday Device and replace Lieutenant VanZyl with Elisa. It would make the game flow a lot better and there are lots of other episodes like Operation Gamma, and others that have first officer dialogue that could be easily updated so that Elisa does the VO.

    I wish I could have a conversation with my BOs. But yet I just did the new tutorial and it's great!
    Much better than the original one which I did, but now I want to go back and do it with my main and I can't.

    True, it'd be nice to have Flores doing all those missions in place of Random Starfleet Officers... for some. But for others, it'd be the Second Coming of Khev since, to ensure that she's there for those missions, she would have to be undismissable - which is what most people's problem already is with Khev himself.

    It's strange enough playing "Afterlife" for the KDF where you tell Doran that Ch'gren fights alongside you in her name and you've dismissed him for an Orion (or Gorn, or Nausicaan, Ferasan, Lethean, whatever) theme crew.

    I'm a little miffed that, unless I create a new character (which I have to buy slots for) or create a side account (which I kind of don't want to do), I am not able to play this.

    When the revamp of the Klingon tutorial was introduced, my existing Klingon player COULD go through the new tutorial, so.... why I can't play the new FED one was a little silly. I would have taken both my FED characters through it, if only for a small XP boost. But I don't have that option. Just a Human bOFF I really didn't want in the in the first place.
