What do people think of the idea of being able to share fleet marks and reputation system marks between your characters?
I have a few characters e.g sci/eng healers characters which put out very little damage compared to my tacs, and often STF's would miss an optional as a result. My tacticals have finished all rep in half the time it takes my other characters and are just sitting there unused whilst I grind on my remaining characters
What would be wrong with being able to run the missions on your tactical and sending the marks across? As far as I can see nobody loses out, you can give maximum contribution, your team mates won't have to put up with a low dps team member and cryptic can leave the cool downs the same so you still have to do the same number of runs to get the same amount of marks.
If they made this small change, grinding would be so much more fun in my opinion.
That was proposed in another thread, having to do with an "enhanced" account bank. I disagreed with that concept then, and still do, for the same reason. Just because one character earns a set of marks, does not mean that another character (who technically would be considered a distinctly separate person, in any RPG type of environment) would be able to use them, or benefit from them.
We already have the T5 Sponsor rep program. Personally, I think that's a good step, and about as far as it should go, for enhancing rep from one character to another.
And fleet marks I'm glad don't even get that, as it wouldn't make sense, in the way that things are set up. If they somehow had a "tiered" personal fleet rep you could do, alongside getting fleet marks & fleet creds, I would agree then, that it would deserve getting that same Sponsor project the other reps get.

The idea of shared fleet marks was for getting fleet credits. The best consoles are all fleet ones and trying to grind 450k fleet credits for embassy consoles on a sci healer takes ages. I am willing to grind/spend money for the dilithium, but cannot buy them because of the ludicrous amount of fleet credits I need. Meanwhile my tacticals all have over a million fleet credits with nowhere to spend them...
Rather than an enhanced bank system my idea was more down the lines of non character bound mark packages. You receive your marks but can trade them with anyone of your characters. That way for each run only one of your characters will receive marks. This keeps your characters as separate people but with the option of trading their marks between them.
If marks were account trade able then I think we would see a lot more people willing to make new characters which keeps players interested in the game, spend real money on their new characters (which benefits cryptic), and also get some old players back who were fed up of repeating the grind on multiple characters.

I realize what your intent was, but that was also the intent behind the guys proposed "enhanced" acct bank, to be able to trade marks between characters.
I just feel, if you want a particular rep, or fleet thing, on a particular character, then that character should be the one doing the related things, to gain said item(s).
