Q's Autographed Pics: Reused next year?

As I near completing my quest for these glossys, I am wondering whether or not to build up another supply for next years winter wonderland project.

Do you all think that it is worth the effort, or may Cryptic switch it up next year for a new collectable other than the photos?

No one knows but given they have used them again from last year, chances are they will do so again.

It's a high probability. Regardless, if you've got some left over, and you can spare some inventory/bank space, you might as well keep hold of them.

They better be reused next year or I am out of luck seeing as I don't want either of the ships available this year I farmed 1000 of them for next year in hopes there will be a ship i want

considering you can spend lobi on them and they are untradeable and only get you the ships, they had better be reusable or they got me to hand them $100 for literally nothing.

Do it! I saved 640 Pictures from last Winter Event and got the Breen Frigate within a short time, while normal people are now unlocking it.

And I expect to have 1000 pictures for next year and buying the new ship on Day 1.

They better use them! :mad: I have toons that don't care about the Raider so have over 1500 autographs in the bank atm. I had over 500 saved from last year, so even my toons that got the Raider have over 500 saved up again now. Assuming there's something good next year, I'll be able to have it on day 1!

Ok. You've all talked me into it. Won't go hardcore, but will build some up for next year.

Hope all the optimism here pays off... and pity Cryptic the ****storm if they don't reuse them.....:eek:

i think you may be on a dangerous path, you are not alone, i have seen comments such as this every time a special event is held, eg. "i dont want the "ship/shard pet/special boff/doff ".
take a look at the rep interface for special events, you know the bit where you feed in your pics/shards/pearls ect. at the top there it says tier 0.
every time you complete a project for a reward you also get a certain amount of reputation marks i am not sure if these marks are going to play a vital role or not but if nothing else when your fleet mates cry out "hay i have just been awarded t1 in special events got an accolade and a special ability/buff/trait" wont you feel like a lemon for not completing all the special event reps as they come up.
after all even if you dont want the item you can always discard it but you cant gain the special event marks if you dont do the project and claim the item.

I believe Branflakes has gone on record stating that they will continue to be used in the future. Since it's impossible to get enough pictures to get both ships, he advised getting extra pictures so that you could get the other ship at next year's event. They would have to use the same pictures next year for this to be possible.
