New Orleans + Norway Classes

I don't know about everyone else, but I would like to see these to class starships enter the game.

In my opinion the New Orleans class should be a heavy destroyer and the Norway class should be an escort, but with a science leaning stations/bridge officers setup.

Please post any ideas you might have.

    The New Orleans is great. I can't wait till it gets into the game. The Norway is pretty tame IMO, but the good news is that Geko said it would likely be added one day.

    The Norway would actually work decently on the Patrol Escort frame, given it has a similar hull raised over and past the saucer shape. Wouldn't mind having a c-store buyable PE.

    Throw in those ships next to the New Orkeans and you have me:

    Springfield
    Challenger
    Curry
    Shelley

    I also would be happpy about this ships but i dont think they will come first there are not enough fans so the wont earn enough money with them, second and this must not be true i think the devs dont like the design of the pre-voyager ships very much i come to this conclusion because every new ship wie see ingame is more in the voyager style direction, there are not much tng looking ships ...

    I WANT the New Orleans class very much in this game, however .... Geko has already said they will not be putting it in because he thinks it's ugly.

    true! For me, almost all STO ships introduced the last years are not mama`s prettiest. Not the Odyssey, which is a fat whale, not the vesta, not the Avenger. They don`t have that nice touch and aesthetic as the "real" trek works.

    I don't know what all the fuss is about. They have every other ship in the game from Nx class to the avenger class battle cruiser. I'm sure the Devs can figure out the details on how to add starships like the Norway, New Orleans, Constellation and other canon ships.

    I would buy the New Orleans. That is another ship I love. Some say it looks ugly. Well the Odyssey is a lop sided, weak built, that has been beat to death with an ugly stick. That is the main reason why I won't buy it off the store.

    I like the New Orleans a lot more than the Miranda. Wouldn't mind seeing it added.

    Norway Class is something i would love to see in the game. Would definitely purchase this from the C-store.
    This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

    I too would love to see the New Orleans, Constellation, Norway, Springfield, Yeager-Intrepid, Raging Queen/Curry, and Bradford classes.

    The Norway, if ever added, would definitely fall under "escort" in-game.

    But I suspect that the New Orleans would be classified as some sort of "cruiser", like the Cheyenne was.


    I wouldn't hold my breath, though. The Norway and Constellation are the only ones that have a snowball's chance in hell of making it into the game. Geko considers the others as "ugly kitbashes".

    Yes Norway Class please, it's a DS9/TNG film era ship i.e. the most modern in the Trek series yet a NX class and Constitutions made it in.
