Since you have removed rewards from the snow piles and the 2 new events are supposed to make up for that, it would be nice if you added epohh tags to the reward table for those events with the same probability that existed in the piles. RL interferes and we can't always log on at the 16, 23,46 and 53 minute times to race, but finding time to pie eat or do the WI is much more convenient.
I think the race was meant to just make it so you just couldnt set a macro to get lots of tags and therefore had to be active to get tags. That said the means of getting tags is somewhat lacking.
It pains me to say it but even if they shoved Tags in a store for 80 dilithium each, for the reward of a single daily you can get enough tags to start an Epohh off. This in itself would surely be a better option than only being available through the race which is so picky on its disqualify points.
I dunno, even assuming you come in dead last every time you run the race, it would only take three races to get the 6 tags you need in a day. That's less than an hour of time logged in.
To me, it doesn't get much simpler than that without ceasing to become a "game" at all.
...talking to players is like being a mall Santa. Everyone immediately wants to tell you all of the things they want, and you are absolutely powerless to deliver 99% of them.
It would still be nice to get possible epohh tags from the invasion and snowman fights, possibly even the photo race or the doff missions.

I have an idea for what Season 11 should be; Season 11: The Big Bug Fix.
I have not been able to read my bug tickets in over a year, not even the tickets about not being able to see my tickets.
I find the drama of your signature proof of your immaturity, this means you, DR whiners.

Multiply those numbers by 14 because I have 14 toons.

I think this is the real issue.
It isn't really so much being able to run the race to get tags, it's more a case of running the race enough on more than one toon.
Which isn't easy.
Even if you say have...1 character per faction, for a total of 3, that means (presuming you came in 'last' as in, only 2 tags a time) you would have to race 9 times over the course of roughly 3 hours.
If you don't miss any races, and never managed to place.
And if you want marks on more than one toon. Or heck, just epohhs because you like pets, good luck keeping up on so many at once.
I remain empathetic to the concerns of my community, but do me a favor and lay off the god damn name calling and petty remarks. It will get you nowhere.
I must admit, respect points to Trendy for laying down the law like that.
How about making the epohhs account bound instead of character bound. then you would not have to do the mission on each toon to be able to exchange for marks. I have a feeling they don't want us to run it on all our toons due to the high rewards. this will give us the same amount of marks but as least we can choose where we want them.

Is that a complain?
If yes, did it ever occur to you that having 14 too.. characters could be some kind of a challenge?
Why is the game supposed to meet your expenses?
All I'm saying is that, probably, most game mechanics and content is aimed at the 'standard' 3-5 characters.
It would be very difficult to scale effort and challenge in a way that making 10+ chars easy to handle wouldn't make 1-3 chars laughably easy and trivial.

It would make it easier, that's for sure. But you watch, probably nobody would be running the races after that and we would have 30 players crowded around that lousy table trying to farm tags.
Its fine the way it is. If you dont have time to farm marks this way, you wont have time to farm them through normal gameplay mechanisms either. Too many toons, not enough time, abandon some toons or get more time.
I also don't have any issues with the current setup, and I am by no means a very ehm, succesful, racer.
If you want the Epohh for marks, there is no issue as they all have plenty of other sources. If any, you're hampered more by only being able to breed one Epohh a day than by the amount of tags. If you want them as pets, you'll only need to collect them once during the entire event. Even if you have 10 toons and want all 3 versions on each one, that?s 30 Epohh x 6 tags = 180 tags. Worst case, if you never place, that's 90 races, and with 4 races per hour, 23 hours worth of play time. I'll not advocate it, but this is thus doable in a single day.
For myself, I have 3 toons that I each want to have one Epohh for as a pet, with a different one for each. I've already attained 2/3 through very casual play. After that, I'll likely continue to race just for fun, and grind the remaining ones down for marks.

Still waiting to be able to use forum titles

Thanks for at least putting the uncommons in there, Cryptic.
