Engine Power what does it even do?
Weapons power we know lets you deal more damage.
Shields power we know increases the resist and shield regneration.
Aux we know improves heals and certain power strengths.
Engine power does what? Unless in full impulse the ship doesnt go any faster or slower at full throttle no matter the level of engine power. Sure emergency pwoer to engines makes you go faster, but only becuase of the specific boosts it provides not the power jump.

Inertia just means you can do Powerslides in you carrier!

The change can be to rather large
My PvE/PvP hybrid skill tree
One of the problem is the lack of points of reference. Space is a large place. However, if you fly right next to an asteroid or something, and then time how long it takes to fly from one side of the asteroid to the other at different engine powers, you will see that you take considerably less time while flying at higher engine power than at lower engine power.
