I'm having a serious problem. Ok so whenever I shoot with any gun, anywhere, the map gets really laggy, like i pulled up a tab and am using that tab instead of sto, but i'm not im just shooting my gun and I know its not being caused by graphics because i can run around without shooting stuff, even being shot and be fine but the moment I fire, lagarama. If i move out of shooter mode and click with reg mouse pointer it stops, but even then if i fire with it I have to click screen again every time and I'm dying a lot because of it. Anybody have a clue as to what the hell this is?
The boss being a gigantic Winter Epohh Researcher. As you lay waste to the Epohh Horde, she can occasionally cry out things like, "Didn't you want an Epohh friend?"
Unfortunately I'm far from being a technician so no way, I can't tell you what the problem is, but with the little experience I have I can suggest you to uninstall, re-download and re-install the game, as that problem might be caused by a bug.
This process is rather boring, the game is a few gigabytes of stuff and patches need to be downloaded, but it is likely to fix that issue.
Remember that your progress will not be lost as long as you can provide correct username and password after patching.

Hmm, that is strange, never happened to me but then again I never use shooter mode.
Maybe you have a keylogger or other virus. It seems like when you press your mouse button a process wants to get priority over STO. Do a virus scan and malware/spyware checks and stuff like that.
Also try this: run STO, alt+tab it on bar and press alt+ctrl+del and look at what processes are running. Then when this weird thing happens, dont click the screan again, but alt+tab again and look at processes again for any suspicious programs running in there. Also it helps if you have a NetMeter program, to tell wich program is uploading/downloading, so you can look up there for any spikes of data traffic, that is ofc is a malware issue.
You should investigate your sound as a possible cause. Many do not realize that a lot of graphics lag is due to sound issues. When you fire your weapons, I'm guessing there are a lot of sounds of explosions and such.
For testing, see if you can totally disable your sound in Windows and see if that helps.
If it is malware as suggested, then task manager or other CPU % showing tool will spike if you open them and hold down a mouse or keyboard button (whichever is giving trouble).
If it is sound, disable sound in the game. Some games continue to load and play the sound files and windows blocks them if you mute globally. If you mute in the game, most will stop all sound processing.

Hope it works, good luck!
