When D'Tan announced the Formation of the Romulan Republic and his Intentions to Provide all Remans and Romulans a New home on New Romulus, the Federation Instantly began preparation for their defense.
Working alongside the Republics new government they established a Joint task force, made up of Seasoned Federation and Romulan/Reman Personnel. This Taskforce was named as the Republican Guard and was placed under command of Fleet Admiral Rhhaein, a Dominion War Veteran. She instantly set about creating a command team consisting of Romulan, Reman and Federation Officers, requisitioned the best equipment and ships available and began training what would become a formidable Defensive force.
With the Threat from the Elachi, the Imperial Romulan Forces, The Tholians and even the Borg Looming, The Federation and the Romulan Republic have agreed to Phase 2 of the Recruitment and Training Process for the Republican Guard. Recruits will be carefully Trained up to defend against all enemies and to take the fight to the Opposition!! All we can hope is that under the Leadership of the Command Team, The Republican Guard can draw a line and defend New Romulus and surrounding Areas.

--Who We Are--
We are a community based new fleet, aimed primarily at the Romulan/Reman and Federation Factions! We Beleive that there is alot of fun and enjoyment to be had out of sto, and even more so when you share it with a like minded group! We offer support for all members, from beginners through to vets, as well as advice on STF's, Ship Build, Character set-ups etc. All we ask is a fun-loving attitude and a dedication to whatever you get out of STO.
There are plenty of oppertunities within the fleet to progress and as we dont have any minimum requirements for this it is down to your level of activity within the fleet.
We impose no minimum commitments nor any restrictions, so whether you have all day to play or just a single hour to spare, you are welcome within the [RG]
We Currently have areound 120 Members, who are actively contributingto all Fleet Starbase and Embassy Projects!

--What we Expect--
Minimum Age: 16+ is the minimum age to join the fleet, we occasionally enter into heated discussions and mild profanity is not unheard of!
Team Players: The Game is best played with friends, thus we ask that you play as a team player. Nothing worse than losing an optional objective etc, because someone wanted to be a lone wolf!
Website Registration: Alot of our fleet wide communications are through the fleets website, whilst not mandatory to use, we do ask that you register
Attitude: Most Important of all! This is a game, remember that and everything else will take care of itself!
