Initial test run, Infected Space Elite. Engineering Captain.
12,000 DPS with a setup I normally get about the same with on a Torkaht. Tough as the Torkie as well, maybe more so.
Losing one Lt Tactical ability for a Lt Engineering ability didnt lower my damage output (I actually even took A2B off of the ship and ran RSP/A2SIF instead)
Functionally this ship thus far feels superior to my Fleet Torkaht in every way. Visually it looks exactly like they said, a bulldog.
Its big though, comfortably large, around the size of a Vorcha but much much more meaty.
The cloak is good for the typical decloak spike, but after that you cant use it until you break combat again, which is pointless really.
I have two gripes, well three but two of them are pretty much in the same boat.
1. The uni c-store console doesnt seem to give me enough incentive to put it on my ship over a fleet neutronium or embassy +pla science console.
2. Unlike the Avenger there is no black mean looking skin, also unlike the Origin bridge we didnt get a new bridge with this ship.
Otherwise this ship is solid through and through and will be the new DNT Sigma X on my KDF Engineer for as long as nothing comes out to outclass it.
Well done Cryptic, I give you a 9/10 on this one (mostly because of the lack of a unique bridge)

It's unfortunate that the DDDS console is underwhelming.. I was thinking of using it but it seems like I'd be better off slotting a +Plasma or Uni. console in that second Sci. slot... I do like the favourable comparisons to the Tork though. Ultimately I doubt it will overtake my Fleet Goldfish as my KDF Tac's ship of choice but I can't wait to mess around with it this weekend.
Admitting that I only tried it for a short while, I say that the Mogh is pure awesomesauce.
I one-shooted my friend in an Oddy in this beast. A good player in a good Oddy. Granted not top-notch PvP material, but then again - neither am I. But it was surreal, the Mogh is da bomb.
It's the KDF ship I always dreamed of - the size, the looks, the stats, the way it handles.....everything about the Mogh feels like I've designed her myslef.
I give them 10/10 on this one - to hell with a bridge, I just use my Maj'Qa bridge from the KDF cruiser bridge pack.

Try using mask energy signature if you're going for decloak/alpha/hit-and-run tactics on a battle-cruiser. It'll take an ensign sci BOff, but if you're going for this, you won't need it.

Can't wait to buy it. I may end up using it in Ker'rat instead of my fleet HoH'SuS.

I was talking about the people involved - not top of the line dedicated PvPers by any stretch, more of ocassional fun loving ones.
The ship on the other hand is amazing, there's no reason why a good battlecruiser captain shouldn't take her into PvP, it delivers punishment in aces and spades.
I am having issues with mine, I took the same gear off my Fleet Torkie, and put it on my Fleet Mogh, and I am taking butt tons of damage now.
Deleted shuttle, no difference.
Maybe I am just cursed, but it seems like the Scimitar bug all over.
Speaking of the Scimitar weak hull bug, they ever fix that yet? I haven't used it lately because of that. It made me feel like I got robbed of the cash I spent on it. I've been recommending fleet mates to not buy it until it gets fixed.
Handles well
good firepower
Excellent defenses
Looks above average
in my opinion its the best ship in the klingon line up for me
The neck could be longer
the wings could be wider and made into a Gull shape
Adding some skin features like this would be great
Jellico....Engineer ground.....Da'val Romulan space Sci
Saphire.. Science ground......Ko'el Romulan space Tac
Leva........Tactical ground.....Koj Romulan space Eng
JJ-Verse will never be Canon or considered Lore...It will always be JJ-Verse
the DDDS is awesome. launch it at maximum range on against something flying around fast. the longer it lives, the more mines it will drop. theres no cap to the mines

To be fair the black skin was only there because they were trying to make references to the Vengeance in the name (though the design itself is closer to a next enterprise contest runner-up).
And as for the bridge, the Origin bridge wasn't constructed for the Avenger, it was constructed as part of the revamped interiors in the new Fed tutorial, it just so happens to be playable now. The Avenger itself got no new bridge either.
If anything, you should complain that the KDF interiors weren't revamped in the same way when the KDF got its new mission content at the release of LoR.

Sounds like a good ship, although I never use ISE as a dps measure. If you are using ACT it really depends on the plug-in you are using . The version I use shows a extreme DPS increase in ISE. I think it has to do with un shielded targets.
Useless Unique Console Syndrome strikes again? Though it sounds like the Mogh's actually does have a small battlefield role. The Avenger's torpedo is pure novelty value. The damage you can milk out of it is not even remotely comparable to the constant utility of another layer of armor or a field generator, and the fact that it can change modes to perform different kinds of attack is completely negated by the fact that none of them are amazing and you pay the full cooldown 3 minute cooldown when you fire the weapon on any mode.
Its irrelevant even if they do since only way to get them is being a 1000 day Vet, its a Fleet Module for a upgrade of a ship that costs you nothing.
except 300 bucks for LTS or actually paying the monthly scrip up to 1000 days... meaning you HAVE paid for the ship.... and all the other stuff you get.
We don't want what the Feds have. We want the equivalent. We want fairer treatment. Concern, desire, greed to some extent, and passionate belief that the enough people would buy KDF items to make it worth Cryptic's while.
I am not 100% sure there is not a bug, I have experienced several incidents today.
While playing, I am taking damage directly to the hull with all energy by passing shields. At times I have been brought down to 40% hull in 1-2 hits with shields still at full. I understand DEM but this is not the case, I have died with full shields several times due to damage only being assessed to the hull. The galor I usually fly with the same consoles/shields has identical hull HP, yet while using it today it is not experiencing the same problem as the Mogh.
I use to do 100K DPS, but then I took an arrow to the knee.
Your Ramming Speed III deals 242658 (243540) Kinetic Damage (Critical) to you.

did you fight some voth? those have like a thousand abilities that bypass your shields.

Yup, the Avenger's console is useless. It sits in my bank as I can't have it wasting one of my fleet Avenger's console slots, as that's basically what it does, wastes a slot.
I don't think that's a bug with the Mogh. Now that you mention it, I've been seeing that on my KDF TAC's Fleet K'Tinga retro. I'd be in an STF and suddenly I'd go from 80% shields and 100% hull to 80% shields and 20% hull, and it would KEEP going down, RAPIDLY, like all damage was direct to hull. This has been going on for over a week.
My KDF Sci had been toying with the bortas (dusting it off, just because) and I was seeing the same thing, to a lesser extent (because it has so much more hull). At the time I thought it was just a crappy setup I had built, or maybe just the ship sucked (like I remembered), but then I moved to the mirror voquv and haven't seen that since.
I think it's a problem with ALL battlecruiser classes. Doesn't happen all the time, but when it does, it kills you and fast. I think since cryptic started dicking around with the voth (stupid nonsense how much direct hull damage they do) they screwed up other NPCs to do the same.
I repeat: I don't have the Mogh, so that can't be what I've been experiencing. But I HAVE been seeing that same effect on other ships.

It's on the C-Store version. Fleet Ships never come with a console.
Incorrect the fleet veteran ships come with the veteran console for some reason.

False equivalence. You can only get the vet fleet ship if you're a vet. So, in essence you've already "purchased" the non-fleet version.

Voth, Tholian, Borg etc, dmg completely ignores shields.

90% health in shields, hull suddenly drops to 26% and does not even scratch the shields

Which boff setup/weapons setup combo is better?
Mogh can still be an LTC+LT+Ens tac slot setup. So my vote is Mogh.
