Dude, where's my scarf?

I just got and unpacked/activated a scarf from the winter event vendor for my Rommie toon, but it's not showing up in the tailor as far as I can find. I'd expect it to be under the "neck" slot/option, but it's not there either for uniforms or off duty.

Are the event scarves kept under a different option other than "neck"? Do purchased items sometimes have an activation delay?

    Romulans and romulan boffs can't use any of the scarves right now, not even their own romulan exclusive. Your allied faction boffs however will happily wear any of the scarves, even the romulan ones.

    My Romulan Liberated Borg is able to wear his scarf, the one with the pin on it. As a Off Duty uniform. Maybe they fix a bug, if there was one.

    Check under Uniform, then under Collar. It should be there.

    My rom-fed can wear the romulan versions its just our allied scarfs we can't wear.

    You can only use new romulan scarf from winter event, but the scarf will show up only under tight jackets and loose jackets, but not under vest. Under vest you can only use survival romulan colar.
    maybe that is the problem?

    And also be sure to unpack the scarf from inventory

    This is but one consequence of being a half-faction. Like Pinocchio, Romulans hope to be a real faction one day. Until then...

    Thanks for the replies.

    The scarf is the "Romulan scarf with pin", my char is Fed aligned Romulan (as in Romulan race, and not "alien").

    I've tried it with multiple clothing types, and it never seems to show up in the "collar" slot. All that shows in the drop down menu is the flower necklace from summer event and the basic Romulan survivor scarf. My default duty uniform config uses the "Romulan Federation 2" jacket from the "Uniform- jacket loose" category, but I've tried it with a few other options/categories too, with no luck.

    When I said the "neck" slot in the OP, I meant "collar". I was just misremembering the exact name.

    Yes, I unpacked it. I did say that in the OP.

    Should I make a bug report, and/or repost in the "gameplay bugs and issues" forum?

    EDIT Well, this is interesting: this toon has one boff who's a proper Fed, and he can wear the Romulan scarf, but none of my Rommie/Remie boffs or my Rommie char can. It's a Romulan scarf! Romulan! Why is the one non-Romulan on my Romulan crew the only one who can wear it? WTF?

    Must be a limited issue then, like others here Movar can wear her scarf just fine.

    As other mention I would make sure you're trying it from the jacket options and not the vest options. And if not, then go ahead and do a bug report.

    I just confirmed this with my Fed Rom.

    I can wear the Romulan Scarves, but when I opened a 2012 Scarf box, but it doesn't show on the list.




    Also, the Romulan Cape is bugged with Cropped Jackets.

    I got bit by the same thing. Bought a KDF scarf, gave it to KDF-aligned rom, was able to open the box without error, but no scarf in the costume options

    I got it on both my Romulans. My Captain and one of her officers. What I like they kinda match the TNG uniforms I have on the crew.

    Yeah.... you can use it, sorta.

    Romulan Republic characters can only use the Romulan scarfs. BUT your non-RR Boffs use the scarf of the faction they're allied with. So if you want to have, for example, an android boff wear a scarf, you must have the scarf for your ally's faction.

    on a slightly different scarf related issue after getting my fed a scarf last year with the Starfleet academy golden gate triangle badge on the left hand end, I made the appropriate purchases ( ie scarf and iron on badge ) and tailored one for myself, ok I`m a trekkie nerd so what.
    I happened to have a Vulcan idic iron on badge going spare so put that on the other end, I am well pleased with the end results and think it looks well cool, I was just thinking it would be nice if cryptic could make a similar option to all the existing scarfs with say a selectable list of optional badges for the right hand end in the tailor section.

    When I think about everything we've been through together,

    maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,

     and if that journey takes a little longer,

    so we can do something we all believe in,

     I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.
