Is this the Undine STF that was removed? What a shame that we don't have more Undine and fluidic space content. A lot of interesting possibilities for some very different "space" battles.

Ah I missed both. I still think cool stuff could be possible in fluidic space. Lots of questions to be answered.
1) No landmass so how did Undine come to be?
2) Do Undine grow ships? Are they symbiotic with the ship creature?
3) Undine are alone now but where they always alone?
4) Have Undine go to other universes?
5) What is the fluid made from?
6) How is heat generated in fluidic space?
Lots and lots of potential not to mention a couple of missions in our realm too. Make it so Cryptic!

There are some "land masses" in fluidic space, and the Undine had a structure on one of them. It hasn't been confirmed that they live on such masses normally, but it seems likely.

The first fluidic space mission establishes that the fluid is organic in nature, but it's not more specific than that.
It seems to me the fluidic space is a single giant organism, the Undine being some kind of cells. That would explain why everything is organic based, and why they are so xenophobic. After all, our own cell are extremely xenophobic, if such thing can be said, as they will attack anything that's not us.

The fleet action involved herding Geklis, and never really worked very well.

There is at least one other sentient species in fluidic space, as seen in the missions.

Why can't they leave well enough alone and just fix the bugs that were in it?
