One without the Others (hypothetical)

Lets say that Cryptic redesigned their factions, and it was changed so that you could only ever play in one faction; I'm not talking about one galactic oversized combined faction, no. I'm instead talking about any existing factions that you could play within, but would be excluded from the others.

In some ways, this would likely come down to who your favorite faction is, but there may be other mechanics in place that would instead have you choose otherwise. But yeah, if you could create a single character (or actually, a whole bunch of characters) but you were limited to a single faction, who would you choose (and why?)

Note: Said faction doesn't have to be an existing one, it can be a faction of Tribbles if you really wanted it too (though lets be somewhat realistic, a Tribble Faction would be stupidly limited unless you enjoyed grinding to eat and reproduce, as Tribbles do).

Would you act as a peaceful explorer within the Federation, a proud soldier of the Cardassian Union, an honorable warrior of the Dominion (Jem Hadar?), an Aquatic Xindi or a Crystal Tholian? These are examples only.

Who would you be?

It's been done in other game, and I don't like being forced to choose a faction forever. Anyway, I'll be Romulan. And more importantly, I would probably be an Imperial Romulan, without the evil Tal Shiar subplot, the alliance.... as there would be no need for that.

Now, a tribble faction sound awesome, invading the galaxy by breeding, fighting the Klingons... That would be epic.

Well I wouldn't play as this but it would make for an interesting enemy alliance:
    Alpha Quadrant Dominion;
Dominion (Changelings {vet species}, Vorta, Jem'Hadar, Hunters, and Tosk)
    Breen
    True Way (Cardassians)
    Son'a (Son'a, Ba'ku, Tarlac, and Ellora)
    Tholians

Cryptics approach to the Tholians is weird all their stuff ingame is based on them existing in the mirror universe and having a captured ship.
Based on all we can gather about them (from 2 episodes) is that they are almost identical to the Breen in approach (obviously super hot vs. super cold :D)

Norway and Yeager dammit... I still want my Typhoon and Jupiter though.
JJ Trek The Kelvin Timeline is just Trek and it's fully canon... get over it. But I still prefer TAR.

I'd have a very hard time choosing between KDF, Orion Syndicate or Cardassian Union.

I don't play games where I can't experience all the content.
