I'm so glad about Expertise changes

I know I said this in the Tribble area already, but thank you so much for changing the expertise requirements on the Embassy, Spire, Dil Mine (and probably further ones in the futre) tier 3 upgrades!

25 million one time could be handled possibly, maybe twice. But 3 or more times? That's a LOT of expertise, especially on stuff like the Spire or Embassy since you are also asking for 2 million dil (ignoring possible discounts atm) on top of that.

    Lol, I noticed this today.

    Unfortunately I had just put 2.5 million each into my fleets mine and embassy just 2 days ago.

    Now for the to help small fleets so they can get that far so they could get to Tier 3. ;)

    I'd would have liked to sell some of my XP... maybe this change from 100% to 10% was a bit drastic ;)

    50% drop would have been enough I think... especially for large fleets ;)

    Luckily for my fleet we spotted that the change was coming and got the Embassy T3 upgrade in and the XP filled.

    We need 20m FC worth of DOffs to get us to the T5 upgrades so didn't want to lose the 1m that would give us.

    Asking for 25mill expertise should be a one time deal for advancing tier 4 to 5, and not anything lower of a tier upgrade. Otherwise you need roll out the mirror invasion a hell of a lot more often.

    Have fun filling in the 5100 dilithium mine provisions without this boost of fleet credits.

    Indeed Azurian. But at least they aren't facing the task of so many millions of expertise to deal with when they get there.

    I understand your reasoning, but the progression on the holdings didn't really fit the huge jump in cost.

    I mean, tier 3 Embassy for example, was 25 million expertise. But the tier 3 of Recruitment and the other area, was only 1 million expertise to do those. Why was there such a HUGE increase? It made no sense to me.

    If it was like 5 million for the other areas or something, I could see it, but 1 million to 25? That's not a small jump.

    Meh, I have toons that could fill that 25mil by themselves. Not that I've ever noticed the upgrade could take that much, since the expertise is always filled unless you're there watching with an itchy trigger finger when a project starts.

    Expertise is worthless.
