Dumb question about Winter Wonder Land

Ok, since they are offering both the new Raider and the old chel crusier, is it going to be possible to get both out of this event or just one?

Cause I missed last years event and would like to get both on one toon. Or am I just royally screwed?

    did you miss the event completely? if they are both 1000 pictures, if you run it every day of the event, if you have about 400 photos already you could net both ships. or if you dont have the 320 neccessary (assuming 35 day event, 40 photos a run) if you at least come close, you could buy the last few with lobi.

    Figures, oh well got more than one character so I can get a cruiser for one, raider for the other.

    the answer is mostly screwed.
    If I recall, it takes 25 days to get enough glossies from running the daily of the 35ish days it will run

    that gives you a 10 day buffer to push for ship 2, but you would still need to make up the 15 day difference. Which means using the lobi store. Which means getting something like 2-6(I think) per purchase, and I seem to recall those cost 5 lobi each?

    Well they did give a Lobi event that if you saved your Lobi from it(knowing the winter event was coming with a new ship and the old), youll have plenty of lobi to get both and not have to pay anything.

    yeah totally missed the last year event. Took some time off and it happened to be during the winter event last year.

    Trust me, kicking myself for that.

    Actually... since the race is a 20h cycle, you could theoretically finish in a little over 21 days. But, again, assuming a 35 day event, that's not enough for TWO ships. It would however give you a few more glossies towards your second ship though.

    It hurts that last year cruiser is account bound, I ran the event with 60 characters and have a ton of them now, granted they're in each toon's personal storage. :(

    otherwise I would gladly had given you one for free - though by now if they were not bound, you probably would have bought one via the exchange.

    Granted to say, I will be more selective as to who runs the event - since last year insanity run by me was merely to test my resolve. Since most of my characters do not even use the Breen cruiser.

    The Chel Grett will only still be available this year, but they make it sound like the raider will be back next year. Hit as many as you can on the 20hr, get as many pics as you can. Get the Chel this year, raider next year, possibly another ship next year. If they add a 3rd one next year.

    Like I already said in another thread: It's possible to do about 1.5 ship per winter event for free.

    Which means if you do 1.5 THIS year and 1.5 NEXT year you can have all three.

    Assuming all three ships will be available, it is possible the Chel may be moved to the Lobi store for 800 lobi.

    Not exactly. You can race the Breen for one and also use all of that saved-up Lobi from the event (that ended today) to buy the Autographs for the other one.

    IMO, neither one are worth it unless we get the chance to upgrade the Breen Space Set to XII like we can with the JH set.

    It is mathematically possible to get both ships on the same character without spending lobi, but it would be extremely difficult, since it would require you to log in and run the race almost exactly every 20 hours from now until Jan 16, with a total margin of error of less than 21 hours throughout the entire six-week period.

    I got a question to about the ship.
    If I get the new Raider ship on my Fed toon, is there anyway I can transfer/send the ship over to my Klingon toon? If I unpack the ship from its box will I still be able to send it over to my Klink?

    I just feel my klink should have the ship more then my Fed, but I just want to plat the winter event with my Fed. May sound dumb, but its just easier to play the event with just one toon, and I want it to be my Fed.

    Nope, the requisition box is bind on pickup. You would need to run it on your KDF toon.

    Ah! Thanx guys. Guess im gunna have to play on my Klingon.

    Im really excited, Winter Wonderland is fun, hope you are all having as much fun as I am.
