The display of the "Critical" float is controlled by the application of Severity. Since the Severity was not being properly applied, the act of successfully rolling a Critical Hit was producing no visual/mathematical feedback of any kind.
So were we actually getting the damage we should have been expecting? or was the severity simply not being applied at all
in other words, for those of us that have a char with bfaw, will the damage increase or was it just a display error

Why does everyone pop up asking for compensation when things like this happen? I'm not just ******** here, I'm genuinely curious. It doesn't happen in other places, people just deal with it, or ***** and moan, but they don't actually ask for free stuff.
Scotty would have told us from the beginning that maintenance would take from 7:00 to 13:00 and then been done by now.;)

There isn't nearly enough of either in this thread to spin the servers back up. We're going to have to kick it up a notch.

PVP sucks. I propose limiting access to PVP with a token-based system. You have to earn five tokens via random-lockbox drop to access the PVP maps, and only then you have two hours access. Also all PVP content is limited to T2 and T3 ships.

Come on. Don't get so angry. I remember when I played another MMO by a rival company and on some patch days their downtime was as long as 12 hours. Heck, one time it was over 2 days. Imagine that.

Yeah I know right? I hate it when people work really hard to give me free things, and It takes longer than usual! They definitely owe me more because I had to wait for their gift.
It wouldn't feel like a real MMO without marathon maintenance periods that continually blow past their expected completion time. I think these guys are taking a page from Blizzard on this one. At least I'm not paying $15 a month anymore. lol
They always have delays when thy are turning on events it's to be expected just like when they do a season release you shouldn't expect to get in game the first day.
Let me guess... The server will actually be back up in 15 or 30 minutes and you'll then be claiming the "Miracle Worker" title? Am I right? I'm right, right?
I was brought up with the mentality that if you commit to have something done by a certain time that you do it by that time. You don't commit to a time unless you know for a fact you can keep it and once you've committed you ensure that you deliver.

could be by design or timetable. could also be a few extra bug fixes that were close to making it that were added in under stealth.
