A few months back I posted an idea involving the Krenim as a possible feature race. Now of course I don't want to be asking specifically for a Temporal War season. But I would like to know if by chance this race could get some good reception. There are few Delta Quadrant races we know of. And so far we just got our second major Delta Quadrant race featured in the game. So what do you think? Maybe a concept that takes some ideas from the Voyager Episode Year of Hell and get a chance to experience of trying to correct temporal insurgencies?
"I was born under fire. I am a soldier from birth..."
since that never happened because the time ship was destroyed, we have no idea what the kremin are. my answer is no once again to the kremin idea. we mostly got background from just one source and not a lot more then that, the source being the time ship annorax and his whiny second. but these people and that ship do not represent the kremin as a whole. for example what was their race like? were they like the federation, peaceful and just want to live with other races? were they lead by a tyrannical leadership and only the most elite get looked after and the rest live in squalor? i mean we know nothing of them.
whereas the voth have some basic background to them, this doctrine that cryptic have tugged at that they can use to create a backstory. now we know the voth are the way they are portrayed because it is ovbious that when one heretical scientist gets a crazy idea not even his family will look out for him. doctrine is engrained, which makes it a core belief.
another thing about the krenim that you should realize is that the kremin as a whole may not approved of annorax's time travelling events and for all we know we was a renegade, the timeship could be just the one prototype built in secret. so this could all but invalidate "the year of hell" as source material entirely.

Considering that we have opened thousands of Iconian Gateways, then it is just a matter of time before other races use their Iconian Gateways or we use some to "explore" the Delta Quadrant. Eventually we should be able to exit the Dyson Sphere and enter the Delta Quadrant that way, but it is not close to Krenim space for all we know.
What about that species seven woke up from stasis that turned out to be hostile. Vadwar or something like that. They had access to sunspace conduits that let them travel long distances. They were 900 years out of date but I remember it was mentioned not to discount them as they were resourceful and determined. Maybe they could be the next big enemy.

Doubtful. Their conduits had been mostly taken over by species that by now far outclassed them in technology. Coupled with their archaic tech level and their low population numbers, any Vaadwaur left are probably more concerned with repopulating their species than with any active conquests.
I doubt they could go from roughly six hundred to any significant numbers in the half a century or so it's been since we've seen them.

i think you need to watch that episode again.
i will say just one thing about it: if "doctrine" is so "engrained" why did the council of Elders feel the need to stop Voth society from ever hearing of Gegens work ?
there is a fundamental difference between supposedly not wanting to hear something and not being allowed to hear something. one is intransigence, the other is censorship.
the council acted against Gegen precisely because they knew people would listen and they feared the result.

My character Tsin'xing
He will use Foot in your TRIBBLE MK XII
It has already happened at some point as there are jem'hadar drones, there is one in the mission state of Q as a elite tactical drone.
