Additional Ship costumes in the works?

I'd just like to know if there are any additional ship constumes in the works lately.

I ask this because the ships tab at the C-Store has "ship costumes" as category, but there is nothing in there. So i wonder if there is anything coming in the forseeable future.


As a ship fan, i just hate to look at some of Cryptics designs all the time, so i end up rather not logging in at all, because i am so bored and annoyed by it.




Personally i think that instead of releasing one OP ship after another Crpytic should rather create more alternative (i know you don't like that word :D) ship parts for our already existing ships and create more KDF and some Romulan ships instead.

    There used to be ship costumes prior to the Season 7 patch. With Season 7, those ship costumes were moved to the Fleet Store System.
    possibilities are a thing of hope, sometimes it drives us toward something better

    I have most of the alt skins for most ships with the exception of what ever the Luna Class Alt was.

    It was the Comet.

    Hopefully they would at least be willing to add new costumes for certain ships, which didn't get a refit but they seem to be satisfied with leaving them without due to there being Z-Store equivalents. For example, the Heavy Cruiser and the rest of the base Tier V ships receiving "Fleet of 2409" costumes.

    Doubt that would happen, though, but I'm still hoping that they get them too in a refit or not.

    Personally i'd be already happy if we could get some simple additions for our ships, like forward facing pylons for the Odyssey, a round or even Galaxy Class like Saucer for the Avenger and so on. It doesn't have to be something fancy, just some more options.

    I think Cryptic (which claims to be all about customization) should finally add some generic ship parts, like some basic saucers and nacelles for (almost) all cruisers/Escors/Science ships.
    They could even sell those expansion sets at the C-Store and i am sure many ppl would buy it.

    I would like to see a Nigera class skin for the (fleet?) Ambassador class. Their hull is the same and their saucer is as close as the other similar ships (ie Venture and Galaxy). I done think it would be that hard to add it in as most other fleet ships have a unique skin already.

    I would also love to see a New Orleans class, but I think that would have to be an entirely new ship instead of a skin. Prob an escort of some sort...

    I think that the New Orleans will be a cruiser or science vessel, And the Freedom will be a Escort, Niagara will be a cruiser, the Constellation will also be a cruiser. the Challenger will be a science vessel

    Personally, I wish they'd left the ship parts in the costumes section. Why? The Mirror ships. Just seems wrong that I'd have to spend $20 to get the Fleet DSSV (Which I'd never use) just to get the Nimbus parts for the Mirror Recon.
