I just found this on Youtube. It's an interesting look on how they record lines for the game.

Good find, very interesting, particularly as I'm studying to do some voice work.

And I still say he did a far better job than Michael Dorn.

    Cheers. :)

    Not bad.

But Shon isn't the first non-human in charge of the Enterprise, Spock was. People forget Spock commanded the original Enterprise in WoK.

Well, Dave sure looked like he was having fun for the recording session.

Spock isn't a non-human. People forget that too.

Spock may be half human, but he's still identifies as Vulcan.

Wait... who's dying? The skyped voices weren't really clear.

It very well could have been an emotional example but the way they kept pushing "He knows he's not coming back."

Dave reminds me of James Cawley playing Kirk when he voices Shon. :P

Yeah I sadly have to agree. Shon's voice acting was great and I loved the Romulan character who died beside him and the Ferasan.

Playing beside Worf was a treat and we want Mr Dorn back, but his performance sounded literally phoned in. The audio quality was lacking. I am not sure if he was trying to make Worf older but Worf could have acted an looked younger since Klingons outlive Humans.

Well, at least now I'm able to put a face to that untalented voice...

DISCLAIMER: "untalented" in regards to vocal skill, not "untalented" in regards to acting.

Niice. Although now every time I look at Shon I'll wonder why he shaved the beard off.

Thanks for sharing the link, OP.

Regarding Michael. Consider that Klingons are not supposed to be smooth talker nor was Worf a smooth talker in any series. Do you expect him to be something else than he originally is?
