would you please consider giving us the ability to purchase ALL Fleet Project resources in bulk? Having to purchase 250 torpedo launchers (peregrine fighters, etc. ) one at a time is just unnecessarily tedious.

This. My fleet's working on T5 military and the provisioning projects are part of it. Having to click two buttons 34 times in a row for Mk VII photorps is borderline torture.

If we can buy in bulk at COSTCO now, why can't we buy bulk torpedo packs half a Millennium in the future?
unions.
its a socialist utopia don't cha know :P
now if you'll just sign these requisition papers...and these...and this one here...ok lads move one torpedo!
what ? you wanted more ?..well i hope you've got the paperwork...and my lads aint juggling these things y'know...etc, etc,

A soviet GUM store? Yeeesh. The future would suck.
i just line up the buy button right under the pop-up confirmation, then click really fast. then i can buy a hundred photorps in like 30 seconds. same for buying doffs.
This is quite simply the worst part of this game, hours of endless repetition, for absolutely no point.
As everything boils down to FMs, EC and Dil, the wasteful time spent converting these into irrelevant individual commodities does not enhance the game or add any value whatsoever.
Come on Cryptic, be reasonable, adding in all this time wasting does not encourage us to play the game more, or tell our friends about it. More likely, the exact reverse.
It?s not clever, not smart, not cool. It is just finger aching, tedious, mind bogglingly dull repetition.
Give us a break so that we can spend more time actually playing the game.
a much easier method would be to have a option to donate the energy credits to the slot in place of the items so if you are donating torps or seismic stabilizers for example and you happen to have some then you can donate them but if you don't have any but still want to donate them use the same method to donate them but have the cost in ec automatically taken from your account.
the same method could also be used in the personal rep system saving all that wasted time replicating some items or sometimes having to find the nearest dealer for other items.
When I think about everything we've been through together,
maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,
and if that journey takes a little longer,
so we can do something we all believe in,
I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.

Agreed, this is not an easy part to tell friends about. heh
And can we get the ability to drag the stacks of Duty Officers (the ones we purchase on our Starbases) to the Contribution window too, instead of having to open every single one of them and then click on each of their 'check boxes' individually?
...must...keep...madness...in...check.
Urge...to...kill...rising....
:P
Actually--there is already something in place to donate large stacks of Duty Officers--donate through the Gateway (http://gateway.startrekonline.com). It's actually pretty handy that way--found it a good way to dump off a huge stack of colonists.

Hmm, thanks for that. I had looked at the Gateway a few times but hadn't realized we could donate through there. I think the person was asking that we could donate before even opening the "boxes", though. I doubt that would ever happen since it would remove the randomness of what we get from the boxes (though I wouldn't mind avoiding the frustration of how random it is).

I'm going mad I tell you!
Cheers.
For now just hold down the Ctrl key while clicking on the photon torpedo repeatedly. You can rapidly buy the torps while bypassing that confirmation dialog box. Still not ideal, but it is a time saver for now

And thank you for the ctrl+click tip. In all this time I either didn't know or had forgotten that. D'oh.

You could be on to something there.
Let's keep the ideas coming. We know that they do (occasionally) listen.
