When Electric/Water/Gas/Internet/Phone companies cannot provide a service for a prolonged period of time, by law they have to compensate the customers.
If you have purchased content for the game or have a sub, I believe this should translate...

They can decide tomorrow "We're tired of people always wanting to be compensated, always blaming us for everything, never giving us any credit - we quit!", take the game offline permanently, shut down the servers, part them out and everybody here would be Simply Out of Luck.

For players suffering from being unable to launch the game since Season 8, what kind of compensation could those players expect? I'm thinking of the "Free Daily Lobi" which many of us have been unable to acquire due to recent shoddy programming on Cryptic's part.

They give an explanation for removing the z store from the website.
They said they had to have two seperate teams one for the ingame store and one for the website, Then they had to have devs link the two with every update. and it wasnt cost effective, so they eliminated it on the website.
Well they have the gateway that reads ingame info. Why not add the store to the gateway?
Except in this case, there'd be no custody battle over the kids...

Captains, I apologize if my silence in the thread has been seen as something that has ill intent behind it. I can promise you it's far from it. However, I can only pass along updates if I have updates, and my lack of posting means I don't have an update -- my posts before today's post explained this. Work continues on a resolution; that's the latest update, unfortunately. Any update would be that we have a potential fix, and that would be listed in Tribble patch notes.
This issue is as frustrating for us as it is for you -- we want you in-game. We'll keep working on a resolution.

See, just saying the team's been able to replicate the error for study has made happy Persistant Officers.

This is an actual update. The whole we are working on it stuff. is just a deflection. As a magician I learned many different ways to deflect attention away from what is actually happening.
I do agree with organicmanfred. as the only one I will ever say thank you or apologize to is Bran.
Btw Bran. It was good to finally put a face to your name (ie Livestream)
After logging in to the launcher, and clicking Launch, I see the Cryptic Splash screen (for a long time) and then the game crashes with the following message;
"Fatal Error: Unable to initialize on-demand patching and connect to the Patch Server; The connection was idle for too long".
Relevant Notes;
1. I did not have this problem for HOLODECK before Season 8
2. I DID have this problem for TRIBBLE during the weeks leading up to Season 8. Now the problem has move to Holodeck after the S8 patch.
3. No changes have been made at my end. Same ISP, equipment and network configuration.
4. Tracert speeds have not changed since before S8 (I am on satellite)
5. Disabled firewall and AV with no change
6. Force verified with no changes
7. Restarted all network equipment with no change
8. I CAN login to Champions online
9. Flushed DNS as suggested
10. Downloaded a new copy of the launcher

I am glad that I kept my download of the launcher. I do not agree with having an additional launcher to launch another launcher to play a game. Unnecessary.

Will you extend the expiration date for the tribble and the lobi event/rerun if the team is unable to find a fix before the 27th?
Not sure why my particular connection issue relates to the Graphics issue in this thread, but who am I to argue. :rolleyes:

PS: Here you can see how they try to fix the various graphic glitches.
